Very nice kitchen tool for quick small jobs and the lid....
Very well thought out mini food processor. It just fits a 15oz can of beans (for reference), but after processing there's more room to add other items and does a great job. Also great for salsa making.I like it much better and does a better job than my hand blender (another leading brand) with its blending cup, but I love the hand blender's blending arm. My regular size food processor (14 cup) came with an insertable bowl for smaller jobs, but I don't think it is well designed since you soil the smaller cup area and also the regular cup area, thus there's MORE to clean. For the Cuisinart, the blades remove from the stem not only for cleaning, but they can be reversed to coarsely chop. Perfect for prep of side items or for a small family/single person. Also easy to clean and feels like a quality item. Finally, I think one of the hottest features of this processor is how the lid is also designed to allow the user to pour oil to an emulsion (say, you're making Caesar salad dressing) and the lid will dispense it to the liquid below a few drops at a time (to avoid emulsion separation). It definitely makes this step much easier.

Easy to operate and small to store
This is a mighty mite! So small yet so powerful! I regularly make Aussie bites and the recipe calls for 1 cup of dried fruit ( I use pitted Turkish figs and organic dried pitted apricots) cut up.I hated dragging the cutting board out and trying to chop the dried fruit. It was like working with cold bubblegum. Very sticky and the fruit would stick to the knife . It was just a hassle to chop .This little chopper is great! Easy to clean … no other blades but that’s ok for my purposes. It chopped pecans to go in the recipe too. They weren’t as chopped as doing them by hand but again that was ok with me .Size.. the chopper takes about the same space as a large drinking glass.Set up… just plug it in and make sure the lid is onClean up.. just wash in soapy water . I think you can put it in the top of a dishwasher but why? Took only a minute or two to wash by hand. For $19.00 this is a great little tool! The price of two fancy cups of coffee!

Good little machine.
Be aware that some products may be “reconditioned “ so aren’t actually new. I didn’t notice that on the site I ordered from. (Which probably explains it’s good price.) When I opened the box there was an insert that said it was reconditioned with a 90 day warranty. It looked brand new though. That being said, this little machine works great. I don’t have big cooking jobs so the size is great and works as good as you would want it to. You do need to be sure you assemble it correctly or it doesn’t work. Read the instructions first. That little blade is really sharp too so be careful when cleaning, etc.

A great sidekick to a full-size processor
Long story short - I left my food processor at my daughter's and needed to make pie crust at my next stop. We ordered this little machine and it worked so well - I haven't picked up my full-size machine yet.Perfect size for a single pie crust, single batch of hummus, or cracker dough - just 3 parts and really easy to clean and dishwasher-compatible.I tend to hand wash and dry so I can put it back together and put away but that's just my OCD talking.

NOTWORTHIT! CUISINART! Whut the?
So NOTWORTHIT! Cheapest plastic ever. Dull blade, plastic I would even allow a child to play in a toy. Sooo breakable . Cuisinart??? Really??? Oh my. What is the world coming to if we can't even rely on CUISINART...

Sting little machine!
So easy to use. I love to use this for onions and especially when I need chopped garlic. Only two speeds, but will chop whatever you need. The only issue I have is the locking of the lid when using it. Sometimes it won’t lock in place so easily. But great product for the money

Cute and Compact, but too Basic for Cost and Cuisinart Name
If this product didn't come with the Cuisinart name, no one would buy it at the price offered. I don't HATE it, but It's basic and shouldn't cost more than $10. I previously owned the slightly larger version of this item and broke it due to clumsiness, and when trying to replace it found it was no longer made so tried this version thinking they'd be similar quality, and they are not. Even just trying to crush cat food to make a dry sprinkle, my $10 blender did a better job than this, and the cat food didn't even all break down during the processing - after a few minutes pulsing and running regular, still fairly intact pieces were left, and crumbs gathered near the top of the opening and spilled all over the place when I finally, after struggling, managed to get the top off. Also, it needs to be fairly full (at least halfway) to do a decent job of processing anything - if there's too little of something it stays under the blades and doesn't get touched, and too much and the top won't be processed. Just an odd conundrum of a little gadget and wonder how it made it out of R&D. Anyhoo, I've kept it sat and on hand for overflow but wouldn't suggest anyone use it as their main source of food processing. Cuisinart in general has always been great, though, just not this product.

Cute and mighty
Wasn't sure what to expect from a refurbished product, but this little mini Cuisinart works fabulously. I can't see it lasting a lifetime as motors just aren't what they used to be, but so far, across a couple of months of constant use, the blade has stayed razor sharp, and it's perfect for teenier jobs which would be too sparse for a giant processor, and too tiring by hand.
