Do not buy these lenses
Auto focus is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Absolutely unusable. I have a Sony FX-30 and it’s still struggling to find focus no matter what setting I use. Sure, I can spend another 80$ to get the docking system they sell so I can update the lens. But that’s no guarantee it will fix it and it’s a 3 year old lens. So, it shouldn’t have these focus issues and should have the firmware close to being up to date. This is probably why most the bigger YouTube channels have never mentioned these lenses. Do not buy this lens.

Small and Light
Not a professional. Just like to play with cameras and this lens on the fx30 works amazingly well. Imagine quality is fantastic at the price point and the low light capabilities are amazing. Solid 35mm for the money. 4 stars due to auto focus breathing. (It’s still fast I’d just personally prefer it to be quicker)

AF Motor Noise
After much testing, I am rather disappointed to report that this lens creates some autofocus motor noise - which is easily picked up by any hotshoe mounted microphone. Considering that this lens is a cine lens with heavy emphasis on video use, why is it not a silent operating lens? I really liked the image quality this produces and the overall design of the lens is very unique and beautiful, but the autofocus noise is a huge deal breaker for me and have no choice but to return it and stick with 1st party Sony lenses.
