This tap and die set worked great for repairing and creating threads. The tools are easy to use, well organized, and seem durable. It includes a good variety of metric sizes for most DIY and repair jobs. Great value for the price.

This set is great I have only used it lightly but it got the job done. The only reason why I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is that the tools are fairly loose inside the casing itself I would have loved some kind of locking mechanism to keep the tools in place. Overall great buy.

Stripped a nut, this fixed in quick. Went on to strip two bolts, ditto. Good value.

Its as to be expected- blow molded case wont latch (plastic too thin)- arrived all mixed up. Both the die holder and the tap holding bar died first use- steel on tap holder jaws bent and stripped threads, screw on die holder so soft butter might hold better- I am afraid to replace with stronger screw- thread gauge thinner than I'd like- but works. Tap and dies...seem ok quality. I needed a metric set for repairs- and will use my other sets holders.

Worked perfectly! Had to drill into an old rusted bolt in my washer machine and used these to create a new threading so I can use a smaller bolt to fasten everything down. It worked as advertised!

I bought this to put some metric threads on a tool. It has a nice selection of male and female taps and dies, and matched the threads I needed. adequate quality for the price, but I am no expert in taps and dies.

A few pieces have burrs but can still be worked with. Some odd sizes that will probably never be used, some require odd drill bits that are expensive and rare. Decent overall if you need cheap tools
