Is short enough for a 9 year-old girl?

No. I originally ordered this for my 11 year old son who is on the smaller side. Even sized all the way down, it was FAR too big. I ended up using it on my own guitar. The houndstooth is beautiful and the quality is top line, but not child sized.

Very nice strap for the price. Stitching is authentic and the colors are vibrant and really pop. Love how the blue compliments the color of my guitar. Strap is 2 inches wide and comfortable. It’s also easy to adjust and stays put while playing. Leather ends are thick and solid, but you can still install strap locks easily (I have Jim Dunlops). Recommended buy!
