Bian Stone Guasha Tool for Face and Body Sculpting - Gua Sha Facial Tools

I saw a video about GuaSha and decided to try it for inflammation, I got them delivered and used a lavender oil as well as a black currant seed oil for an easy glide, before I was experiencing pain in my legs and was careful rising to walk. I applied the stones with short downward strokes and when I tell you I truly feel good and relaxed right now at age 61, I’m totally sold and will order more as gifts to relieve family and friends of pain and inflammation. I searched for a product with variation in contact points for fascia and scar mobilization, that I could afford. I love this set because my hands are small-medium for a woman, the 4 different stone-like tools fit in a carry pouch included and fit into their own compartments which are marked and soft inside. A FREE very basic PDF downloadable/printable booklet is accessible by link provided inside box. A FREE e-book is available for your smart device, but I couldn't figure out how to make it work on my iPhone 7s. I printed the PDF. The written information (PDF or e-book) isn't very important because it mostly describes the product, not how to use each piece nor does it include "how-to" directions. A few tips are included in the written info. You can access the company website for more information. The company/creator is Hana Emi and my set came with a certification (?) test card number for reference. The material is "Carbonate Jade Material Bianstone Ornament". Each piece is black, with company insignia, machine curved and hand polished. Total weight of 4 pieces combined is 145.49 grams. Each individual piece has a perfect weight in my hand: light enough to handle, heavy enough to not slip out of my hand when using oils. MADE IN CHINA fyi. No funky smells on the tools are carry pouch which is great! No defects, chips, cracks nor sharp unsafe areas. The tools are cold. If you like cold temperature right away, or your patient does, this feature may be beneficial. If not, you will need to warm up the tools before applying them to skin. The edges are smooth and not too thin. Acupressure angles are includes to get to those specific points. As a hand therapist, I need to preserve my own joints when working on others' difficult scar adhesions. These tools take the pressure off my joints, and transfer the force through the tool. My hands aren't aching anymore! NOTE: these tools are not large for larger muscles and fascia areas. You possible could use them in larger areas, however the desired effects of larger sweeping and/or scraping methods would likely be diminished. Pressure points on larger muscles could still be addressed using this tool kit. OVERALL: I read a lot about various tools on Amazon--price, size, material, and purpose. This set is perfect for a smaller kit. The price was incredible compared to the official ISTAM tools.

It was like getting a present! Beautifully packaged, with pride and care to both themselves and their customers. The Guas were very well made and are easy to use. I am a massage therapist and use them for work on my clients as well as personal use. It helps smooth out the wrinkles and scars, helps to bring blood flow to the area, release the fascia and muscle tension... They're amazing! One must be careful not to drop them on a hard surface because they are made of stone. They come in a box for sturdiness and a protective canvas pouch that individually wrap each Gua, a Certificate of Authenticity and an e-Book are included as well... Everyone should have one! This is an amazing value for a 4 pc. kit that includes a very nice slightly padded zip pouch w/ separators to keep your tools from breaking or chipping. Value pricing considered, I did not expect the quality to be exceptional, and I was right. The one drawback I can find is that the stones are not perfectly and evenly milled, so a couple of mine have some sharp-ish edges that I am careful with. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase, and would recommend to someone new to Gua Sha. The stones themselves are quite breakable and easily chip, and this is true of more expensive stones/brands. So that’s why I suggest this one—as you practice holding & using the stones, you will invariably lose grip of one and it may not survive the fall. I chipped one of mine the first night i was using it! But I’m not worried—at this price I can replace it easily. If anyone is wondering what I found this helpful for, I used the stones to massage my face & next for TMJ pain relief, lymph detox, reduce wrinkles and fine lines and promote blood flow. You can look up lymph face detox massage points on YouTube. After doing a lymph facial massage, my skin is GLOWING and fine lines plump up. Deep wrinkles are reduced. Pores also reduce. This is the most effective face care method i have ever used.

These are a very sturdy and smooth product. Glide over my face easily and no drag. That's an important piece of the exercise.

1. Giftable: they come in a zipped canvas bag, that has 4 compartments (fit for each tool). 2. Great variety: there are two tools mostly used for facial gua sha (plus a third less commonly used one) but all 4 can be used on the body as well - I personally love the "triangular" one for legs/calves/arms/body. 3. Easy to hold. So to be clear; there are NO HOLES in these tools even though it may look like it. But they are still easy to hold. 4. I have high cheek bones and have thinned out in the face with age - I found that these work/fit/feel better on my face than other standard quartz or jade stone tools. (something to note). 5. HIGH QUALITY! These stone pieces are well made. I'm very pleased with the craftsmanship. Minor CONS: 6. With these, I feel like you need to keep your skin more often slippery/wet than with other standard quartz or jade pieces... On that note: I do not use more product (high molecular density hyaluronic acid) with these, and just run the tap on low and add more water. 7. The "promised digital book" is no longer supported or available... On that note: remember this: do not use the edges (perpendicularly on your skin), angle the tools! Never use on dry skin - these need to glide at all times! For most applications (especially on and around the face) draw the tool UP! - the WHOLE point, aside from lymph draining, is to "defy gravity" ;) Over all - I love these. BUY THEM. THEY ARE GREAT.

As a licensed therapist I've been interested in the Graston technique but in research and logical thinking, my belief is that Graston created their protocol off the original ancient Gua Sha. However, the tools and training expenditures for Graston are unbelievably expensive. So for now, I'll stick with the ancient wisdom of Gua Sha. About the tools, They are very smooth, easy to hold, and incredibly conductive of the tissue beneath them. It is amazing how easy it is to feel the tissue restrictions, knots, lumps, and bumps. So far, my experience with these is a similar experience as in using cupping......where there is a problem you will see a change in skin color, where there is no problem - the skin tissue remains the same color or slightly pink. I've had the tools a couple weeks now. The clients I've used these tools on have had positive feedback and one client specifically asked could I "do that again" at his next visit. The smaller tool I am using on my own fingers and find the results no less than wonderful. I would recommend this set and I'm considering purchasing another set for use outside the office.

I was very impressed by the very nice zippered cotton cloth carry case , with a sling handle, these are stored in. Each stone slides into its own secure slot with a icon on the outside of the pouch so you can easily identify it. The stones are beautiful, smooth and feel wonderful. There is a stone with an angle for all my body regions. I am impressed by the results I'm noticing in doing Gua Sha in just the first sessions. I notice considerable less hooded eyelids due to puffiness. And I see less cellulite in my thighs. I'm excited to see more results in the months ahead.

I dont quite like the texture but i usually slather massage oil on it. On a positive note: this set is so useful for the pain parts of my body. Felt the relief and did help with boosting blood circulation. Definitely didnt regret the purchase!

Beat gua sha tools I have ever used. The metal ones I used to use are NOTHING compared to these. The first time I tried these in the tub, I became so relaxed I was struggling to stay awake. The sensations these provide, are unmatched by anything I have ever tried. I ended up looking up this bian stone, and it turns out to be a very powerful stone. Just be careful, it's fragile. I dropped one and it broke. Thankfully it was the one tool i barely use. The slim, long one. I am addicted to the triangle looking one with the curve. That one is absolutely euphoric to use all over. The rigged one is amazing on the hands, doing 3 fingers at once. These stones are truly magical. Thank you.
