Great Budget Sound Upgrade for TV & Gaming
I picked up the LARKSOUND small sound bar mainly for my TV and gaming setup, and honestly it’s a solid upgrade over built-in speakers. The sound quality is clear, especially for dialogue and everyday watching. Movies and games sound much better, and it definitely adds more depth compared to standard TV audio. The bass isn’t super powerful, but it’s decent for a compact soundbar and works well in a small room.Setup was really easy — just plug and play. I like that it supports multiple connections like Bluetooth, HDMI ARC, optical, and AUX, so it works with pretty much anything I connect it to.One thing to keep in mind is that it’s not super loud compared to bigger, more expensive systems, and the bass could be stronger if you’re looking for a full home theater experience.Overall, for the price, it’s a great value and perfect if you want a simple, affordable sound upgrade for your TV, PC, or gaming setup.

LARKSOUND Small Sound Bar for TV,
I love this small sound bar for TV. The height is perfect and does not interfere with the TV picture. I went with the optical setup. The sound bar was super easy to set up. Great value for the money. The sound bar came with a power plug, and I plugged it into my surge protector. I have no complaints with this sound bar. The sound is crisp and clear. No more turning up the volume with the AC kicked on. My old soundbar lasted 14 years. I hope that this new sound bar lasts just as long or longer. Great product.

I really wanted to like this, but it's awful.
I purchased this because the size was perfect for my set up and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I needed a small speaker that could connect to a TV through eARC. I didn't think my expectations were high, but apparently they needed to be much lower.Product support: The first thing to note here is the "Product Support" links are a lie. If you visit their website, the "Contact Us" button isn't a link, it's just text. This product isn't listed on their website and there are zero support documents available. If you go through Amazon to their brand page, there is no actual support information on this product outside of a few FAQs.LED light: When you first turn on the speaker, you can change connection modes easily (Bluetooth, HDMI, etc all have a different color LED that is on the right side of the speaker (when it's facing you). For HDMI it's a vibrant green. Unfortunately, every time you hit a button the remote to control it, this light comes on and in the dark, it's awful. It stay on for 10 to 20 seconds and then shuts back off. If this was it's only issue, I might get over it after time. But it's not.Sound quality: I tested the speaker with a couple different high quality HDMI cables and the sound quality was okay. I wasn't expecting super high quality for this price, so it wasn't a deal killer. When you're adjusting the volume, there is a brief static sound, but it's not super loud.Remote control: Whether you use the remote that it came with or the TV remote, controls are delayed and sluggish. The remote has the necessary buttons to control it, but when you're pressing the volume down button, you're going to feel like a sweaty try-hard in a first person shooter. The volume: Every time I turn it back on, the volume defaults back to 60! Why?! No idea, but it sucks. For some reason, the volume doesn't adjust by 1 step, it adjusts by 3 or 4 (it's inconsistent). Again, no idea why.I will be returning the speaker.

Good sound for the price, just keep your expectations realistic
For around 40 bucks, you really can’t expect the world, and that’s exactly why I think this soundbar is a good buy. If you go into it expecting a solid budget soundbar and not some huge high-end theater system, it does a really nice job.Years after buying it, I’m still enjoying it. The sound quality is good for the price, and it has enough bass to make movies, games, and music sound better than the stock speakers on a TV. It’s not going to blow away an expensive full surround system, but for what it costs, it absolutely makes a difference. What I like most is that it gives you a better TV experience without spending a lot of money. It also has a lot of connection options, including Bluetooth, HDMI ARC, optical, AUX, and USB, which makes it easy to use with different setups.Overall, this is one of those products where value matters most. If you expect premium home theater sound from a budget soundbar, you’ll probably be disappointed. But if you want something affordable that sounds good for the money and is still enjoyable years later, this is a solid choice.

Best Speaker
I don’t understand why there are so many bad reviews. I have two of these in my house, and they’ve both been fantastic. They’re incredibly easy to set up just make sure you order an HDMI cable. Simply plug it in, and it works great. The sound quality is excellent, too.I tried a few other brands, but I ended up returning them because they had constant connection issues. These have been reliable from day one. I would definitely purchase them again.

Wasn’t bad whike it lasted
Mid September a very very loud glass breaking sound from my sound bar. Sounded like a giant chandelier had fallen from a distance and crashed. Then two weeks later the same thing happened. Eight days later there was a sound like two pieces of wood being hit together. Not especially loud. Then five days later there was an extremely loud metal clanging sound. Was like a bomb going off. Three days later again a couple of pieces of wood banging together. Not really loud. Now a day later there is static coming from sound bar. Had unplugged everything a few weeks ago to see if that would force it to reset itself but apparently that failed. Now have again unplugged and tried again without success. Figure it is gone for good but have it disconnected from all and in a few days will try again but have no hope. It is 11 months old and wasn’t that expensive but feel it could have lasted longer. The sound was better than tv itself even though not great.

update, initially impressed, already crapped out, not happy, don't recommend
Update: 2 mos later, and too late to return, and no real support, its going in the garbage. I use this in my rv, so i don't use it all the time. its been working fine, then, i couldn't get it work. i read troubleshooting, and oh, ok, after an hour, it just started working. Ok, must have bumped a button or something, next time, similar issue, no sound, yes it is plugged in appropriately (this is the big tech advice by the way) after a bit started working, huh, ok, as long as its working. now, nothing. it has power, nothing has changed, it will not work. I tried the hdmi connection, nothing, read through the manual, troublshooting, totally worthless. Should have read deeper into the reviews, because it does appear that this is apparently common. Well, off to try and find another product. at least they got their money, perhaps if people stop buying it, they will fix the problem or stop selling this horribly disappointing sound bar. - original reiview: this is not going to replace a multi channel big boy soundbar, but if you are looking to boost the sound from your flat screen tv, laptop etc. This will absolutely get the job done. it is not Bose quality (what is) but it is better than the speaker on your tv. I have a small tv in my small RV, the sound is garbage. I have been using 2 usb computer speakers for 5 years, and somehow I managed to break them. Very disappointing. so, I bought another small speaker, total garbage, bought this, and am very happy. My only draw back, i was intending to get a usb powered speaker, and this is a plug in - oh well, don't watch a lot when off grid anyway, so no biggie. But overall, am really happy with it, especially for the price.
