Does it kill the mouse?

No, the spray doesn't kill the mice; it keeps them from coming out after you spray - mice hate the scent of peppermint. The more you spray, the longer the mice will not come out. When the scent starts getting faint, the mice come back out and you have to spray again. The spray runs out fast, so you have to keep buying it. When you spray, the scent may last about 2 - 3 days before you have to spray again. I normally have to spray in my kitchen on the counter, stove & behind the microwave. Make sure you buy the spray for mice because some of the sprays are for insects, etc.

Will this work for ants also

There's a different formula from Mighty Mint called "Mighty Mint Insect & Pest Control.. This formula works against most insects including spiders, ants, centipedes, beetles, etc.

What is the difference between mice repellant and rodent repellant sprays?

Many critters are rodents, mice are but one. Repel one or all

Do your formulas work differently? They all seem the same per labels.

I am not sure about that but have ordered the insect, rodent and mice sprays and feel they have the same effect!

Spray bottle is cheap

Not sure how it works because shortly after I started using it the spray on the spray bottom stopped working. I, now have to put it in a different bottle to spray it, will update after I test it.
