Lol. I had to laugh at this. When I was younger, my mom’s ironing board used to screech when she would open it.. it was awful LOL

When folded the board is only a few inches thick. Because the iron holder is not removable this board is best hung on a board hanger on a wall or door. Great board, VERY sturdy.

Q: What is the board itself made of--metal, mesh, perforated, or that fibertech stuff? According to many of the reviews, the fibert doesn't last at all.
