I’ve done acrylics before and this is a great starter kit for beginners. Everything you need with pretty colors. Long lasting and durable if you do the correct prep! -I suggest buying a different light if polygel is something you’ll keep doing. It’s a bit weak.-

I'm going to start by saying that I'm experienced at working with nails and doing acrylics. I practiced with this product a few times to grasp how it works. However, it is VERY time consuming. The product is very sticky and tacky so when you try to mold it, you just cannot, it does help when you add the solution that they provided,however that solution also thins out the product, making it non-durable. The product does stick to your natural nail, but it does not mold with the forms provided for the free Edge. So it holds no shape that you desire on the edge, you do have to file it to form your desired shape and it's a lousy inconvenience as anything beyond the free Edge bends, and it's quite flimsy, it has no durability ( and yes, even after curing it you have to file it down for it to be sturdy so you don't wind up with a long length at all)to the free Edge so it does not allow you to extend the nail for length. Also the solution that they provided is not much at all, none of the bottles and none of the product containers are filled up. It is very messy and it also clogs up under your nails, I took my time trying to remove the build up before curing it,however when you try to do that again it'll thin out your free Edge so it's not an easy task. I'm pretty unhappy with the product and was hopeful to utilize this on myself. But like I said it's time consuming, non-durable, not easy to mold as it is sticky, tacky, and does not help if you're trying to extend your nail length.

this product could be good with someone who really know what theyre doing but the nails were quite hard to do even when done properly and took a VERY long time to harden under the uv light. the nails where also very fragile and lasted only a day or two, but I could just be doing something wrong

Great starter kit for beginners

It’s hard to it yourself lol it’s kinda messy , it’s a bit runny I guess. Maybe if other person will do it for you. Might be less messy

I purchased this kit because it seemed to have decent reviews, it was a budget intro kit, and the UV lamp was included. The kit itself is good with different colors, a cute jar for the slip solution, and even little clamps to hold the nails on while they dry. Buuuuuuuut I can't give this kit a good review because none of the products will cure, presumably because the UV lamp included isn't strong enough. The base coat gel won't even cure after a few minutes of light. I tried to continue on anyway with the polygel and it will not cure all the way. It immediately lifts off of the sticky gel base that hasn't cured. And the polygel itself won't cure completely either, remaining pliable. So I was unable to use this product. It's possible that the products are poor quality but I'd be inclined to blame the weak UV light first.

Never used poly gels before. Glad I tried it. It’s definitely going to take some practice to get it perfect. But for never having done it before the instructions were easy to follow and it works very well. It’s a nice sized kit with enough to do a few sets with each color depending on how long you like your nails. Will update on longevity after putting them to the test. *they lasted almost a month before I decided to take them off. Only one or two had tiny cracks from me beating them up. I use my hands with heavy and sharp objects at work all day and used to break my nails everyday. This has helped me protect them from myself*
