ZIRO Marble Color PLA Filament 1.75mm, 3D Printer Filament PLA 1KG(2.2lbs)

This filament is great ! Apart from being relatively inexpensive the finished result is more of a `speckled Corian` finish rather than Marble but the speckled finished hides no end of printing sins. I found that I can easily print with crude layers and have much less discernible layer lines due to the visual texture. A big plus is the packaging, the separate self sealing bag for use after initial opening is a nice touch and not replicated by much more expensive products.I am a relative newbie to the 3d printing world but learning fast. My successful results were printed on a Balco Touch (rebadged poor substitute for the Wanhau Duplicater I3 Plus - a bit of an Aldi rip off). I have upgrade the hot end to a Full metal Micro Swiss unit with enhanced blower, printed on a glass bed with hairspray. Printing at 190 -200c with a bed temp of 60 c (first layer 70 c).I will be looking out for more filament by Ziro

This filament is an amazing product, was a little worried due to the particles in the filament but it prints fine with no effect on the nozzle, used about half the reel so farPrints at 210°c / 40°c on my anet a8The marble effect looks very nice and had lots of comments on how good it looks. Layer lines are barly visable printed at 0.2 (have not gone lower yet)Highly recommend this filament, great for printing statues and decorative pieces, well worth the little extra you will pay for this special filament

The marbling speckles on this filament are very nice and the base grey it has is very fitting.Honestly at a distance it could be mistaken for real marble, up close though it looks _like_ marble but it is clear to see it is not (even when layers are not visible). This is in line with other marble filaments I've used before - don't expect to pretend it's real marble to anyone close enough to touch it.I had no troubles printing with this and it did not cause any jams or blockages in my hotend or nozzle. Printed at 195C - glass bed temp 50C. Layer adhesion was good. No warping.I printed the full roll with a 0.4mm nozzle and was not able to see any wear on it (sometimes filaments like this can cause excessive wear compared to basic coloured ones but this did not seem to do it on my brass nozzle).

I wanted this filament initially to print some objects with quite a few flat surfaces. This is where consistency and overall look of a filament come hugely into play; you'll see poor quality easily when there's a flat slab in front of you.Thankfully, the ZIRO filament proved to be a good all-rounder both for more complex prints and for those simpler shapes. It produces a nice visual effect that somewhat resembles marble or stone, and is more a light grey than white. It isn't particularly shiny, so don't expect "polished" marble.What surprised me most, however, was its stability across temperatures. I printed a temperature test as I do with all new filaments, and was delighted to see it perform admirably across the whole range. I settled however on the temperature that proved the smoothest in the test, which was bang on 200c.My only qualm that prevents a perfect score, and it's a small one, is the slight edge curling on one or two prints in scenarios where other filaments haven't contracted and have adhered. You might completely eliminate this with a heated bed, or simply by slowing your initial layer even further than I have. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this filament. A nice interesting addition to the set.

Brilliant filament at a bargain price. I use this on settings 205/60/70 and it works very well. Just as good as some of the more expensive brands for 30 percent cheaper. Definitely worth buying and the range of colours are good.

This doesn’t work! Have tried multiple times to print with it and it’s throwing up extrusion error codes! All other filaments are working fine!

Amazing PLA filament, had seen this on a friends facebook post, but he was in the US, and it was not available over here yet, unless i wanted to pay extortionate chipping costs, so glad its available here now, and from amazon as well, will definitely be getting some more to keep in reserve, I never had to do anything to dial in settings etc, just set my printer to Generic PLA, and hit print, no stringing to speak of, and no blockages in the nozzle from the specks of grey. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to print off statues, or even buildings would all look great and need very little post clean up, and no spraying, only time will tell with the yellowing that can occur with PLA after it has been exposed to UV Rays.

Ziro is my go to Filament shop now. Quality is great and the print quality is perfect.The metallic looks really good once printed as it looses that shine form the roll and looks much better.Each box come with a ziplock bag and a few meters of cleaning filament (this is an amazing bonus the stuff is like gold when swapping filaments.Keep it up Ziro and you will have a customer for life.

Filamento di eccellente qualità, nonostante la composizione particolare non consuma l'ugello e presenta quasi meno difficoltà di taratura rispetto al normale PLA. Produce ottimi risultati già a 200°C, lasciando una finitura parzialmente opaca e nessun effetto distintivo al tatto. Con temperature più alte si può rendere l'effetto più lucido, ma aumentando anche leggermente la probabilità di sbavature. Molto tollerante riguardo a velocità e ritrazione, anche a 100mm/s fatica a presentare difetti dove altri filamenti a tinta unita ne mostrerebbero.

This filament does a good job creating the illusion of marble. The color variation looks natural and gives prints a stone like appearance without any extra post processing.It prints cleanly and consistently, with no special tuning required beyond normal PLA settings. Finished parts look far more premium than standard PLA.If you want a marble effect without the hassle, this delivers exactly that.

Habe das Marble Filament zum ersten mal bestellt und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Abgesehen vom optischen Reiz des Marmor-Looks. (Hat auch was von 90er Jahre Kunststoffteilen, was ich als Kind der 90er natürlich klasse finde):- Druckqualität und Druckbetthaftung sind sehr gut- Die beigelegte wiederverschließbare Tüte ist recht stabil, luftdicht und schützt zumindest einseitig vor schädlicher Sonneneinstrahlung.- Erstaunt hat mich das Reinigungsfilament. Das habe ich bisher überhaupt noch nie gesehen.- Zusätzlich ist noch eine Probe durchsichtiges Glitzer-Filament in der Packung gewesen, was auch äußerst selten und sehr willkommen ist.Insgesamt also ein sehr positiver Eindruck. Ich hoffe, dass diese hohe Qualität weiterhin geliefert wird, denn dann werde ich noch viele weitere Kilo dieses Filaments bestellen. 👍👍
