I take one sublingualy every morning. I'm unsure if it does get absorbed beneath the tongue at all or not, but I let it dissolve there anyways. It definitely does something energy/mood wise when I take it, even though I take it to just make sure my whole hormone-synthesis pathways have all of their precursors in check (this is the "grandparent" hormone after all), as I'm trying to stay/lead active/fit/healthy lifestyle. I'll keep this as a staple from now on. I really think it complements the lifestyle I'm aiming to achieve perfectly.

I take thiss version because it's a micronized and sublingual formulation that's best for enhanced bioavailability. When taking capsule forms of Pregnenolone it undergo "first-pass metabolism" in the liver, where much of the pregnenolone is converted into other steroids, primarily progesterone. When taking a micronized sublingual version of Pregnenolone, it goes goes directly into your bloodstream and skips the first-pass metabolism of the liver, so you end up actually getting Pregnenolone in your system and not progesterone. Avoid the capsule version of Pregnenolone, it's a waste of money. Do the research yourself and you will understand.

These dissolve well and have a nice flavor. I don't really have too much concern over quality. ND has been around a long time, and I bought from their previous iteration Ceretropic, as well. They've always been focused on quality.

I was so focused on the HYPE of how NOOTROPICS is all made in the USA, etc, that I failed to read the ingredients list, wrongly assuming this company would not use harmful products. WHY SORBITOL as a sweetener if you are so concerned with providing healthy products? Total waste of my money as I cannot take these. Even if sorbitol didn't make me feel nauseous I wouldn't deliberately put this in my body. I was going to purchase other NOOTROPIC products, but not after this. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I am not a chemist or physician so I would not be particularly qualified to pass judgment on these regarding composition or effect on the body. These are a very slim pill. It veritably slides down the throat without lubrication. There are hints of some fruit (raspberry perhaps) which would seem odd for a swallow pill, so I would have to imagine these are meant to dissolve in the mouth. This is not mentioned anywhere on the bottle nor is it directly stated in the product info (ok, it does say "quick-dissolving" but so do gel tabs). That is mildly off-putting. I will come back and edit if we get some Flowers for Algernon situation going on.
