Rear Sight + Laser Upgrade Kit - Fits Bug & A Fly Salt Gun 3.0

There are two remote buttons on the remote. One only works while holding it down and the other turns it on with a push and release and then turns it off with a push and release.

The laser came with a piece of rubberized spacer material to allow it to clamp securely on the end of the barrel. The Bug Assault barrel itself has a little wiggle to it, so I was not setting my hopes too high. I did use the provided allen key to adjust the sight for my preferred range of three feet. I used a piece of aluminum foil as a target to mark the impact points. (I used a marker to make a bulls-eye on the foil). After about 5 minutes, the gun was shooting on target as expected. Although my sight did not come with instructions, it was very intuitive. I am glad I made the purchase and look forward to using it.

It's a pretty straightforward set up. I bought this laser specifically for the wired switch for press and release activation/destination. And it works pretty well. However, at least on a bug a salt, the wire is coiled too tightly. The tension caused the wires to break away from the solder points on the switch board. I was able to disassemble the switch by removing the heat shrink and then resoldered the wires. I then re wrapped in heat shrink. I think this product could be improved by either using a less tight coil or just using a straight wire with no tension and including some wire retainers. The way the wire is shown to be routed in the instructions keeps it tight, but the coil obstructs the front sight pin. And also had enough tension that the included adhesive strip wasn't strong enough to hold the switch straight and in place. It was always trying to come undone and set at an angle. All this said, the price is very reasonable. The rear hoop is really cool for shooting flies on the wing. I would definitely buy this again. But it would be cool, really cool, if that wire issue could be improved. I tried to bend the coil out to create slack, but that coil is really well-engineered in comparison to the soldering work. You should definitely still buy this set-up if you're interested.**UPDATE** I found this to be a superior way to route the wire. You can relieve a good amount of tension on the wire by securing the coils between the barrel and the laser. It also puts the wire in a straight path to the most like place to affix the switch panel. So it isn't pulled upward from the adhesive.

I had trouble with the first scope I received. The light would come on briefly, and keep shutting on and off. Changing batteries didn't help. I contacted the seller, to inquire about returning it. He told me not to bother returning the defective one, he'd send another - AND a back up! He was true to his word, he replaced mine, free of charge, and actually sent more than one! Happy to say the new one works perfectly. I know that sometimes manufacturing glitches happen, but the scope is otherwise well constructed, and I don't think I'll have anymore problems with it. The customer service with this company is worthy of much more than just 5 stars. I recommend them to anyone.

Mine did not turn on. After doing some testing with the ohm meter, found the switch was not working. I pressed the switch button out of aluminum housing, bent the steel ears all the way up and reassembled. (steel ears weren't making contact with aluminum housing) Works great now.

Fairly easy to install onto the salt gun. Adjusting the sight was a bit problematic. There's not a lot of internal wiggle room for movement of the laser. I was able to get a good point on target after approximately 45 minutes.

Would not adjust. target way off. when you try to adjust the Lazer turns off now won't turn back off. Worse than a 1dollar Chinese flashlight
