I like to listen to music when doing things like driving, riding a bicycle, a motorcycle, snowboarding, and now I can add swimming to this list. I’ve use H2O audio before with the first gen iPod nano but the headphones were quite uncomfortable. Now that I’m doing laps in the pool again (queue music) I have returned to the H2O Audio because the overall product was good and this product is completely different.ComfortThese fit comfortably behind the head resting over the ear, very lightweight, and they are also comfortable under a swim cap and goggles.LoadingEven though I have several gigs of MP3s, the idea of streaming music from Pandora, Deezer, or Apple Music like creating an old mix tape was a big part of my deciding factor for this model, adding an hour of streamed music was about 137 Mb. Also having an open ear headset that I can use for cycling and snowboarding is definitely a plus.Play backThe navigation controls with the three buttons are pretty simple. However the volume level keeps resetting when you turn it back on. I would expect the device would remember volume settings when powering up in memory mode, Bluetooth mode would be at the level of the connected device.Audio qualityAbove water music quality is ok but I did not get these for the audio quality, I have other headsets for that. That being said under water is a whole different story. The sound is amazing and it feels like the music is playing through the entire pool. This may be because this is my first pair of underwater bone conductive headphones but I’m still impressed.SoftwareIt’s convenient to set and load streaming files from the phone, organizing loaded files. Unfortunately it is not possible to determine the size or length of a streamed track from the phone software. wife was looking for an option to listen to music/podcasts while swimming. Figured we'd give this a go since it's advertised for exactly that purpose. While technically it works, here's the process to use the app though:Pair with your phone, and start up the app and tell the app to start recordingplay stuff through spotify/audible whatever you use for music/podcasts. turn it up loud and don't stop itthe headphones act like a digital tape recorder, and record whatever is played, so that you can play it back again later. starts and stops, phone beeps and alerts, ringtones, and volume changes and all.First time she recorded for an hour and then went to use it, and it was too quiet in the water. since she recorded quietly it wouldn't get any louder.Once sorting that out, there's the issue of longevity. My $60 earbuds last 6-10 hours, and weigh next to nothing. These lasted her an hour in the pool.They also aren't adjustable, so better hope they fit your head right. they were slightly too big for her. I had trouble adjusting them to be in the right spot for the bone conduction to work.They were too uncomfortable to wear under a swimcap, it pushed her ears into the plastic.Also sometimes in the pool they would blip out and stop, and then she'd have to stop swimming to restart them. however it would just restart at the beginning of the "song" which was just the beginning of the tape.I guess you really need to spend a couple hours in realtime starting and stopping recordings to get a bunch of separate songs on there?Great, it gets around DRM restrictions by just dubbing the audio stream it's playing, but the overall experience is terrible.

I train and do all kind of activities in and out of the water and was hesitant on buying bone conduction headphones because of the sound quality, but H2O Audio Tri Pro is awesome.First, I did not realize that Bluetooth connectivity does not work in water, but it's super easy to download music from your computer, but even better you can record any streaming music or podcast directly to the headphones through their Playlist+ feature and then switch over from Bluetooth to the memory mode - super easy, simple double click to move back and forth to the different modes.I use to hate swimming laps, now I get lost in the music and I'm swimming faster and longer.I also decided to use it while hiking and mountain biking because I can hear other sounds, so it's WAY SAFER, to avoid getting taken out by someone or something I could not hear with my earbuds in. The sound is still great.Next is stand up paddling. I can use the memory mode and I don't even have to have my phone with me. Super convenient!I finally have music where I could not get it before.

1. I put Crazy Glue on the section where the stem meets the MP3/Battery because the previous pair I purchased separated at that area and I had to return them. Now they will never come apart in a million years. Also, Bluetooth will not work under water which is why I use MP3 mode.2. I download my music onto the MP3 from Apple Music. It’s a tedious process but I’ll try to make it as painless as possible:- Download H2O App- Turn on headset- Connect to phone thru app- Create a Playlist Folder in the App- Double Click the middle button to switch Bluetooth Mode if you’re not already in BT Mode- Go to your streaming app (Here Comes the Tricky Part)I tried to play a song on my streaming app then record on my H2O App but by the time I pressed the ‘Start Loading’ button and the music loader began recording then half the song would be cut out so here’s what I do instead.:- Play a different song than the song that you want to load onto your headset but MAKE SURE THE SONG YOU WANT TO LOAD WILL PLAY NEXT!!!***MAKE SURE VOLUME IS AT HIGHEST WHEN RECORDING******YOU ARE ABLE TO RECORD WHILE HEADSET IS ON CHARGER BUT THERE WILL BE NO SOUND PLAYING FROM HEADSET WHILE RECORDING IS TAKING PLACE***- Fast Forward until there’s about 10 secs left in that unwanted song then when the music dies down quickly open H2O App and select ‘Start Loading’ in Music Loader.- The music loader should be ready by time your wanted song starts to play. HOWEVER!!!- The wanted song will be saved in the ‘Loaded Music’ section under the UNWANTED song Title since that’s what was technically playing when you selected ‘Start Loading’If you’re still with me then it’s all downhill from here…- Select ‘Stop Recording’ once your wanted song ends.- Double Click middle Button to go to Memory Mode- Select the ‘Loaded Music’ option then click the unwanted song title to make sure it recorded properly- Select ‘Edit’ > ‘Rename’ and change the title to the correct name- Select ‘Move to Other Folder’ then select the folder that you created earlier- Go back to step to and repeat for the next song you want to record.It’s a lot of work but once you get it down it’s quite simple…Here’s some tips on the features…- Press Middle Button 3x’s quickly for ‘Shuffle Mode’ On/Off- Hold Volume Up Button to skip to next song- Hold Volume Down Button to replay last song- Double Click Volume Up to next Folder/Playlist- Double Click Volume Down to go to Previous Folder/ Playlist* Battery Life is OKAY (You won’t be running a marathon on one charge but they’ll last a couple hours* Order extra Chargers just in case since they don’t use regular USB* Use earplugs under water for best listening experienceI hope this review helped

I bought these specifically for swimming and they do work underwater and suprisingly the sound A LOT better when swimming and using the earplugs the come with. The playlist+ feature, if you can get it to work properly, is really good in a sense that lets you play your music. The drawback is that you have to pre record the music, so if you want to listen to 1 hour of playlist music you have to leave your phone playing the music while the playlist+ records the audio. My advice turn notifications off and leave it on a sleep mode or something. When swimming it sometimes randomly skips folders and it even sometimes turns off out of the blue so thats annoying mid swim. My two cents is that maybe the idea for the streaming feature is good but it still has a long way to go to get to where it wants to be. There might be other options on amazon that are cheaper and maybe work better.EDIT:I reached out to customer service about the random turning off issue and skipping folders, they gave a solution. Seems you have to turn off the bluetooth device you used to record the music in my case my phone and it worked like a charm. Changing my rating to 4 out of 5 stars. RECOMMENDED.

I'm hooked and can't foil, wing, or swim without them. After I tried a friend's I ordered a couple of sets and I keep them everywhere. They work great and I love the fact that they don't go in your ear and I can still hear people shout if they are riding up behind me. The customer service is excellent as well. When I received this product a few months ago and tried it for the first time i gave it a 4 star rating. But the more i used it the more problems i encountered. Here’s a full and honest review :- comfortable fit and lightweight, it is stable even while swimming- 8Gb memory is adequate- playlist+ would have been amazing if it worked well, unfortunately, when i tried to download one of my Spotify lists it was saved as a unique file, meaning the songs weren’t separated, which is ridiculous.- sound quality is 6/10 outside and 8/10 inside water. Some songs sound weird and very bassy underwater while others are just ok.(I advise to use some ear plugs to get a better sound with bone conduction earphones )- the most annoying problem with this product are the control buttons that are so stiff you need to use your fingernails to turn on/off or change tracks etc.. Ladies with long nails are strongly advised to stay away from this product- another serious problem is that it tends to go off by itself underwater without apparent reason. It happens 2-4 times during a 1 hour swim. So i must stop and strongly press my nail on the middle button to turn it back on.- lastly the icing on the cake : i put it in a sport bag with goggles and other gears. Yesterday i found it broken. So apparently it’s not very sturdy.Conclusion : a very promising product that failed to fulfill. I’m looking for another model now to replace my broken one.

To put is simply, the advertised time between recharges is greatly exaggerated by at least a factor of 2, head movement while listening to Bluetooth audio content creates sound distortions like audio breaks, static, and crackling that can only be stopped by tapping the device vigorously, the auto-off feature is way to quick and requires not only a re-powering on the device but a re-negotiation of the Bluetooth connection. I have much cheaper equivalent units that out shine in all areas listed. Overall rating: Don't Buy

Llevo dos semanas usándolo en natación principalmente y usando casco de moto,me parecen muy cómodos, el audio es muy aceptable se escucha súper bien cuando está aislado y bajo el agua si usas tapones, lo que no me gusto fue para agregarle música mp3 no acepta otro formato. Y tiene una app para grabar tu propia playlist, hay que leer muy bien las instrucciones. El material es plástico duro, pero muy flexible para colocar en las orejas!

They work okay but break quite easily. I prefer the new Shokz swim as they're more flexible

Coincidence or not, the delivery was very late, the product comfort and quality are horrible, not compatible with the many reviews on the internet which praised it as one of the best. It is surely raising suspicion whether the product is legitimate or not. Delivery date way beyond promised before purchase

Product set up was confusing, when I finally got them work i had an annoying vibration feeling while using, Product returned fir refund.

No los compren, yo buscaba una altarnativa para poder usar mi contenido de mis apps de streaming, pero lo que tienes que hacer es reproducir el audio, para que se graba y luego sube la grabación a los audífonos, así que si necesitas meter una hora de audio, tienes que primero reproducir esa hora en tu cel, para que se pueda grabar y luego subir a los audifonos, es una BASURA, no los recomiendo, hay opciones más económicas y mejor rateadas, voy por unos shockz
