I have 2 ragdoll cats, one had got quite a few matted sections on her belly. Although even with the low noise she was very nervous, with the help of my sister this made the job of removing them so much easier, with less distress to her. Battery works very well, still haven't had to recharge it. Have also used it to trim my own hair - so great use!

I bought this product for my two persian cats. I have added a picture of the product and my half way trimmed cat! I have never clipped cats fur before so for a first time I was pretty happy with the result and it didn't cost £100 at a groomer! The product looks really good and it's very light to hold. The noise of the clipper was a low hum so the cats didn't freak out when it was on. The product does exactly as described and it was easy to use. Instructions were in Chinese but it had pictures to follow. My cat had a few matts that it helped remove too. I would recommend this to anyone that needs to give their pet a quick trim :)

Before we had these our maine coon would get matted on monthly basis as he refuses to be brushed. Our 1) two options were using comb/brush and scissors, but he would meow in pain for the half hour it took and it still didnt clear it all; 2) taking him to a groomer for £60, which worked but stressed him out and bills started to pile up. Now we just grab him, find the matted parts, and this very quiet clipper (a light buzz no more, doesnt freak him out) just shaves them away with no fuss and no pain to him. OK he still doenst like it but it takes 5 mins a month, no pain, and he's clear of mats. He does look a bit odd with bits of fur missing but he's pain free which is more important. No wires, quality bit of kit, and stupidly low price. Do it.

I have a Maine coon who has the usual tangles and fur clumps especially under his tummy. His fur is of course fine and soft. The low noise is very good. That didn't bother him although he was suspicious. With attachment I didn't make any headway, without the attachment it trimmed better but I was finding it difficult to get through some of the thick clumps. He got a bit fed up with me as I persevered, and soon decided enough was enough, I was taking liberties no doubt. He is a rather impatient chap, and becomes quite indignant with being poked and prodded, in fact he seemed to view me with a certain contempt, and wonder at my impertinence. Perhaps I have to be more efficient and improve the technique. The product is good quality, and arrived within a week, so in that respect I recommend. I shall, as I said, persevere, and hope his lordship will give me a bit more leeway, although judging by his face at this point, I may have some way to go.

I bought this a month ago and only used it three days ago. I have a mini schnauzer and the clipper is too weak for this coat type. It keeps getting clogged with hair and constantly needs cleaning, and it struggles to cut properly. Overall, I do not recommend it. Unfortunately, I can’t return it anymore as the return window closed yesterday

bought to use on a cocker spaniel who has quite fine straight fur, when bought i thought if they only do one cut ive saved 12 quid on a professional groom. Well, ive now used them three times and they are brilliant,convenient enough to grab and tidy up any odd bits of fur, more than up to the job of a full groom and very easy to completely take apart and clean all fur from, cut like a knife through butter, when the guard is on you do have to stop every so often to remove fur that is between guard and blade as it slightly dulls the clipping action but its not a problem. it doesnt 'catch' the fur ,the dog doesnt mind them at all. Ive bought an additional pair in case anything happens to them and there are no more available! work best on a clean coat if you think they arent good take the actually blades apart and clean inbetween, really easy to do and put back together. one of my best buys ever.

It is quiet but my cat did get distressd at the time it takes to cut through his matts as he has a thick coat. It is gentle on him but you have to try many angles to get through tight fur. I recommend this for coat trimming of those with no complications.

Great shaver, looks great, feels great and does a great job. My cat is 15 now, Persian Mix with a very thick ling coat. She is not looking after herself now, her coat is just too much for her now. Last year her coat got so bad I had to take her to a groomers which traumatised her. This year her coat is worse, its not just underneath now its the top also. I cant take her to the groomers again, she took days to get over it. So I decided to get a shaver and do it myself. I receive this shaver yesterday and decided to try it on my small dog 1st and wow I was amazed, it removed her coat very fast. Was not looking forward to trying it on my cat, she's very grumpy and yes she whined a bit but I managed to get most of her coat removed with no help, no one holding her but decided to do it in stages so not to upset her too much. It takes time to get through the matts but its getting there. Would I recommend this shaver?? Yes 100%. Great Shaver, Great Price, Fast Delivery. Saved £25 shaving my dog myself so its almost paid for itself already.
