Lunix LX13 Bed Wedge Pillow Post Surgery Set, Adjustable Angle, Shoulder

The Lunix LX13 wedge pillow set is super-functional and highly adjustable. I keep a daily rigorous 60-minute practice of posture exercises (since 2010) and began buying wedge pillows in 2015. I count this Lunix LX13 purchase among the very best. This remarkably thought-out and constructed set gives you the freedom to choose your angle in sitting upright, reclining backward or laying down. Not all wedge pillow sets allow for this kind of 3-in-1 flexibility, as some are good for only one or two out of these common positions. One of the most-innovative features about the Lunix LX13 wedge pillow set is its removable lumbar pillow. This enables you to choose different positions for your lower back, and, I imagine, this functionality could automatically make this set a premier post-surgery wedge pillow. Lunix also thoughtfully adds a second-tier leg wedge pillow whereas most manufacturers include just one. This twin approach gives you the ability to keep your legs upright. I can also imagine how helpful this functionality must be involving folks who've sustained injuries or surgeries. It's excellent to see that Lunix has gone the extra mile with this LX13 wedge pillow set, as, I'm sure, the added features can provide benefits in many different use cases. Prior to purchase, I reached out to the Lunix team, as I had some questions. The team told me that the LX13 has received some recent upgrades, and the 45D high-density memory foam as well as cooling technology are among them. Judging from the stellar reviews already for this wedge pillow set, an already solid product just got a boost. I got a stone navy model, and it looks sharp! Truly, the wedge pillow set looks closer to gray with a touch of blue, to me, and this neutral color should fit in most rooms without causing a bold color splash. One area about the LX13 wedge pillow set that doesn't work for me is the neck pillow. Because it runs rather long vertically and because I'm 6 feet, 2 inches, my neck starts higher up than the pronounced curve in the pillow, even when I position the pillow's straps way at the top of the backrest pillow. I'm not taking off a star for this, as my height has forced me to make compromises with just about every wedge pillow I've bought. I simply swapped out another cervical pillow I already owned, and it works just fine. My case, however, shines a light on a need in the wedge pillow industry, and that is for wedge pillows to be produced in different sizes. We have shirts and pants and shoes that can fit every body, but chairs and wedge pillows are still stuck in a one-size-fits-all approach. (At 6-foot-2, my knees run several inches higher than my hips while seated in chairs, causing rounding in my back, shoulders and neck.) If any company were to take the lead on making XS, S, M, L and XL wedge pillow sets to meet the needs of kindergarteners to 7-foot-6 NBA players, I'd think it'd be Lunix, as this company has, to my eyes and deep research over the years as a trained posture exercises and self-taught ergonomics expert, the most-robust lineup in the wedge pillow space. Who's the Lunix LX13 wedge pillow set for? It's for men, women and children ranging in height from about 5 feet to 5 feet, 10 inches, although taller folks up to 6 feet, 2 inches could simply use a different neck pillow. It's for those who like to read or play or work on their laptop, tablet or phone while on a couch or in bed or even on a floor. It's for those who like to watch TV, play video games or meditate on a couch, in bed or on a floor. It's for those who like to take in a projected movie on their ceiling (I do this!) or sleep upright because of GERD and other health conditions. Posture health is becoming a bigger and bigger focus, as 20 years of smartphone usage (along with tablet and laptop usage) has led to an explosion in cases involving tech neck, text neck and forward-head posture. There are lots of cute names for the same condition, but the Lunix LX13 can help reduce the onset of these debilitating conditions and many more, including femur rotation, the trigger for so many chronic-pain symptoms. I should know. I used to suffer from chronic pain for a decade, and my head jut forward so much (not from phone, tablet or laptop usage, however) that I got struck with vertigo and felt as if I could fall easily while walking. Posture exercises saved and realigned me, and now I guide others to pain-free lives. In my recommendations to clients is guidance to invest in a high-quality wedge pillow to help them maintain all the work they've put into themselves. I have good things to say about the Lunix brand to these clients. Over the years, I've amassed quite a collection of wellness products from Lunix, from wedge pillows to foot, hand, back and handheld massagers. I've also given some of these products to loved ones in need of them. The Lunix LX13 might be one of the smartest purchases you make all year. If you give it as a gift, you likely will get some positive vibes coming your way daily because the recipient is going to think about you and your incredible gesture every time he or she fixes the backrest in place and sinks into supportive comfort. Ahhhhh—what a feeling!

Don’t sleep on these pillows! (Pardon the pun) if you are searching for surgical positioning pillows to sleep on, search no more! I bought these for a pretty intense plastic surgery procedure and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of these pillows. It takes a couple of days for them to fully “open up” so don’t worry if they look weird at first, they just need a little while to decompress from being vacuum sealed and shipped. On to the review; The foam is dense and supportive, retains its shape, the fabric is soft, and the stitching and accompanying zipper are strong and seem durable for the long haul . I love that I can easily unzip the pillow casings, take the foam out and wash the covers. It’s also very nice that they included the storage bags that you can vacuum seal. They are really just great. In fact, I love the pillows so much that while most are compressed and put away for storage now, I have exclusively kept out and used the head pillow nightly for the last 6 months. It’s just the right height, shape and support for sleeping and always returns to form. In addition to head pillow, we kept out the large triangle pillow and use it frequently for a number of things. It’s firm and can support the weight of my husband easily. Overall impression? Shockingly good And I’m very happy I chose these over the more inexpensive options on Amazon!

I am so grateful for this product. I have only slept on it one night so far, and it has me looking forward to all the upcoming bedtimes 💛 I have a connective tissue condition which means I need a lot of support to sleep healthily and comfortably. I've been used to building myself nests with as many pillows as I can get my hands on, and I've been thinking I wished I had something more stable because if the pillows shift at night and I wake up in odd positions it's painful and likely doing damage. I had no idea this sort of thing existed, but I was on Amazon browsing for something else, stumbled across this listing, and as soon as I saw the picture I had a thrill of excitement because it looked like exactly what I needed. When it first arrived, I was concerned at how small the box was and thought I had misjudged the size of what I was getting. Then when I saw it was vacuum packed, I was concerned it might not be as stable as I had hoped. Neither was actually an issue. Within about an hour of removing from the plastic wrap the cushions had plumped out to precisely the size I had anticipated from the photos. And sleeping on them that night they were very supportive and stable; just enough give to feel cozy but very sturdy. Importantly the bottoms of the cushions have a rubber coating that helps to keep them in place and it works really well. I think there was a 4-piece set available that only had the big cushions, and I probably could have gotten away with that, but I'm glad I got the full set of 6 because I do find extra cushions supportive and more comfortable and these are so stable they can serve purposes regular pillows won't. I bought a set labeled as "Used", and as far as I can tell that was just because the packaging was damaged. Thank you for the existence of this product!

Great product over all. I had back surgery about a week ago and ordered this to help me as I recover. My husband got it ready for me to use about 3-4 days after surgery and that first night I was able to sleep better than I had any night since surgery. Great product. Only issue I have with it is that the pillows that go at my feet are supposed to Velcro together, preventing them from moving and shifting under my feet. The left side is perfect but the right said kept moving and we found that the problem was the scratchy side of the Velcro was missing and therefore it won’t stay together. Yes it was this way right out of the package. Pictured above to see. Like I said it is great product but this small detail would definitely help and make a big difference. No I’ve not contacted Amazon as I am recovering but hopefully they will see and send me the piece or discount a small amount back. 😊 this was only reason for a 4 star ⭐️ or I’d given it a 5 ⭐️

I bought this pillow system to help me sleep with my head elevated after nose surgery. This system is completely adjustable yet doesn’t shift during the night. I was worried about being able to sleep on my back and these pillows cradle you so comfortably I had no trouble sleeping at all. I’m usually a side sleeper and I was worried how I was going to adjust. Highly recommend. Plus, I like that you can store them in the enclosed vacuum sealed bags. It’s so supportive that there is literally no reason to toss or turn at night. I might just keep them on my bed lol.

Love this set! Recently, I had breast cancer surgery. I usually sleep on my side, but couldn't after surgery. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to find something that would accommodate my weight. I found this, read the reviews, and gave it a shot and went ahead and ordered this one. It is so comfortable, it is the perfect size, keeps its shape, has plenty of support, and has just enough pieces to switch up the layout when sleeping, resting, reading, and everything in between. The quality of sleep I've had since surgery has been great, and I'm still using it 11 days post-surgery. It stays in place, regardless of how you've set it up, thanks to the gripping material on the bottom of each piece. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't have a chemical smell when we opened the package. I was so afraid that if there was a smell, it wouldn't be gone prior to surgery. Its functionality speaks for itself, and once I'm finished with it, I can pack it back up tightly in the vacuum-sealed bags that came with the set. Very pleased with everything!

This was not at all what I expected. The units did not stay in place. I had shoulder replacement that was very delicate. The pillows slid all over the place and I rolled off them onto my surgical shoulder causing great pain. They would have been ok if there was Velcro to hold the pieces together. It was a terrible experience and I would not recommend them for anyone.. the window closed for me to return them. A loss over $200.00 dollars with no perceivable help. I would really like my money back as this product was useless n dangerous.

My elderly mother has at home a bed that the head and feet adjust. We were going to my sisters house and I realized she had to have something to help her sleep on her back with feet elevated. This fit the bill easily. Stays in place though I did get a silicone mat to use but haven’t needed it. She says it is very comfortable. Covers easy to wash and put back on. Love the different options. I did let it air out. I had trouble deciding between the blue plush or bamboo white covers and went with white as figured it wouldn’t be so hot. She loves it. No smell. I will have to ship it home as bulky but great purchase. She has congestive heart failure and sleeps easily with this setup. Foam firm but giving. Very comfortable. Pleased. Adjustable heights.

Très bel article. C'est déployé en quelques heures mais je vais quand même attendre 72h avant d'utiliser. Un des coussin a été un peu plus long a prendre sa forme mais il a fini par y parvenir. Par contre j'ai eu de la difficulté avec la livraison qui c'est faites en retard et j'avais vraiment besoin de ses coussins orthopédique pour aider a dormir a cause d'une grippe qui se transforme en bronchite. Ils n'ont pas trop pris soin de la boite non plus. Elle était écrasée et fendu. Heureusement les coussins étaient intact a l'intérieure parce que tout est très bien enroulé serré. Le tissus blanc texturé semble respirant et le tout est muni de fermetures éclaires qui en font le tours. Le tissus antidérapant n'ai pas ce qui empêche le plus de glisser mais il semble quand même bien. Le fait que le coussin pour la tête n'ai pas la même forme en demi linge que les autres a poussé mon choix vers cette ensemble plutôt qu'un autre. Ce sera bien plus confortable. Ont peu choisir un côté plus relevé et un plus bas selon les besoins. En plus au lieux de tenir avec des vélos. La tête est munie d'une bande élastique qui empêchera la tête de glisser. Ils sont d'une belle largeurs donc ce sera agréable de dormir dessus. J'ai hâte de pouvoir les essayer pour passer une bonne nuit. J'ai aussi commandé un ensemble de housse a part pour pouvoir faire le changement quand je vais devoir les laver et j'ai pris les bleu qui sont bleu gris pour l'hiver puisqu'ils sont pelucheux car les miens sont blanc et le tissus est plus pour pouvoir rester au frais l'été. L'on reçoit avec ça un super grand pack de gel pour le chaud et le froid. Je m'attendais pas a un format aussi grand. Et deux sacs a sceller sous vide pour y ranger les coussins. Personnellement je ne les remettrez pas sous vide de leur qu'à un moment donné ils ne se déploient plus. Et quand j'en ai besoin je ne veux pas devoir attendre encore 72h pour pouvoir m'en servir. Je remercie aussi le service client amazon. Je ne sais pas s'ils sont responsable de la livraison qui a fini par débloquer enfin. Mais si c'est eux qui ont fait bouger les choses un gros merci a vous. Vous n'avez même pas idée a quel point vous m'avez rendu heureuse aujourd'hui.

I bought the lunix 6 piece wedge pillow system for recovery from surgery. It has been excellent, very comfortable. I don’t know what I would have done without it. It was exactly what I needed. I would highly recommend!

I honestly can't recommend this 6-piece Linux pillow set enough. For months, I wasn't even able to sleep in my own bed because of severe back pain. Every time I tried, I either couldn't fall asleep or woke up in agony. I ended up sleeping in my Lazyboy recliner night after night because it was the only place I could get any rest. I decided to give this pillow set a try, not expecting a miracle, but I was desperate. The first night I used it, I was finally able to sleep comfortably in my own bed. The different pillows let me support my back, knees, hips, and neck exactly where I needed it. For the first time in months, I woke up without feeling like I'd been fighting my bed all night. If you're dealing with chronic back pain, recovering from an injury, or just can't seem to get comfortable, this pillow set is absolutely worth every penny. It gave me something I had been missing for months—a good night's sleep in my own bed. I only wish I had bought it sooner!

I bought this for recovery from an organ removal and it's good. I'm not sure it's better than cheaper options because I bought this one while on pain meds and didn't really look at other options. It's firm and supportive but doesn't stay completely in place once laying on it. It's suppose to be adjustable but pieces sliding unfortunately happens. The leg pieces I thought I would use more to elevate but I ended up having to have my legs wrapped in electric compressive sleeves to prevent clots so my legs couldn't bend while wearing them. The cold pack is great and was used frequently. I still use it just to lounge around while watching TV and seems durable enough to last a couple years.
