Works Great!
This adapter was easy to install, has great signal strength and provides good speeds. (Please note: while the product description describes it as being 'plug and play," it is not; you must download and install drivers before the adapter will work. See below.)Replaced a 3/4 year old ac (wifi 5) adapter that worked flawlessly. But, I upgraded my gateway to ax (wifi 6) and needed an ax adapter. I first tried the Qgoo USB ax 1800 and no joy - speeds were less than my old ac adapter, sent it back to Amazon! For reference, with my ac gateway and ac adapter, I would average 200/350 Mbps down. With the new ax gateway and this MSI ax adapter, I am getting speeds of 450/700 Mbps down, typically about 650. I have AT&T fiber 1 Gbps to the gateway.A note on installation: before removing your old adapter, go to the MSI site (MSI.com) and search for the drivers referenced in the new MSI adapter's instructions. 1.Download the drivers to your computer, 2. Shutdown the computer, 3. Remove old adapter (unless built-in), 4. Install MSI adapter into a USB 3 port, 5. Restart computer, 6. Locate the drivers that you downloaded and expand the zip file, 7. Install the driver from the expanded files - Setup.exe. Reboot, find your SSID and enter your network password and you're good to go!

High Latency, poor stability, requires driver tweaking to get 5GHZ to work
Pros: Good form factor, liked the cradle. Capable of high speeds as advertised on a gigabit connection but....Cons: HORRIBLE intermittent latency issues. Moreover, this device does not work well with any router utilizing SON. You have to manually go into the driver settings to FORCE it to use 5GHz or 6GHz. Otherwise would default to 2.4GHz. Once connected, would see intermittent EXTREMELY high lag spikes every few minutes (3000-4000ms!). Only this adapter experienced it. Using other devices on the same network and even using an alternative USB adapter in the same PC did not see the issue, so the issue MUST be with the adapter. While the hardware seems good quality, my guess would be the drivers used to drive it are horribly out of date and in need of substantial reworkingTo be clear I tried everything under the sun with my router to get it to play nice with this adapter, but this refused to maintain any latency stability. For an adapter marketed to "Gaming" this product is extremely poor performer.

Great Network Adapter
Works great. My la[top network adapter died, the second one to do so. I decided not to another one internally. No problems since then.

Great product at a good price.
Works great. The range is nice, just make sure it's facing in the direction of your router. Installation isn't well explained. Out the box with install, the default is set to 2.4ghz. You'll need to open up the device manager, click on network adapters right click on MSI AEX5400 and select properties then switch over to the advanced tab and disable 2.4ghz. I'm using spectrums 500mbs plan about 30ft from the router with the door closed and the router enclosed inside my tv stand.

Difficult install on Linux
Good signal, decent speed. Far better then the internal wireless card in my laptop.A few warnings though: The adapter is rather large. If you only have 2 side by side USB ports it effectively blocks the second one where you cannot insert a plug. It has to be connected with the provided cable. BAD DESIGN!The cable is not very flexible. You move the laptop and you also move the base and antenna, quite often onto the floor. Might be a good idea to secure the base to the table. Alternately, use a short cable and no base, or a different USB cable. Tape or hot glue the adapter to the side of the laptop lid or keyboard. If you have a Linux laptop or desktop, installation is difficult. There is no installer software. The drivers must be installed by command line/terminal. It took me quite a few tries to come up with the right combination of commands. Each Linux distro needs different commands. Interestingly, in Mint 21.3 you can install it graphically with a GUI. You can't with Mint 18.Must be installed using the install.sh file, supplied in the tar.gz.zip file you download from MSI.com. Once this is achieved, it takes 10-15 minutes to load the various drivers, then another 10 minutes for the MAKE FILE to complete. Reboot. When done, it runs with your installed network software. If you update your kernel it stops working and must be re-installed.I would STRONGLY suggest that you have a good knowledge of how the Linux command line/terminal works if you attempt installing it yourself. Or find a friend who does...maybe a PC shop. That said, once installed, it's easy to set up and works flawlessly. I'm quite satisfied even tho it was a PITA to install.

WIFI Upgrade for a Desktop
My son's desktop was expierencing slow wifi speeds after switching from a corded connection to the router to the built in wifi. Was seeing download speeds of around 60mbs on the built in wifi card at 2.4ghz.Bought this product, install was easy and fast, disabled his built in wifi device, and enabled this one. He is now cruising on WIFI 6 speeds with 980mbs download speeds.Exactly what I was hoping for. Thank you!

Works very well
Has enormous reception. A nice feature when you plug it in, it automatically loads the Windows driver on your system. The cable is hefty, braided and plenty of length. It even has gold plated connectors. Seems like a well thought out quality unit
