Good replacement part but did not work initially
Good replacement part but did not work initially. Fortunately I hadn't thrown the old one away and found that two small red pieces of plastic were missing on the base of the replacement which actually trigger the switch. On taking these from the old part and putting them on the replacement, it worked. Would advise holding on to old part in case you have the same thing happen.

Good base but the seal is not reliable
Missing one star due to the fact that the rubber seal broke within days. Otherwise the base is very good. Does the job as expected. I recommend buying separate set of seals

Perfect fit.
I ordered this Kenwood replacement base as my original one, the screws and the rubber seal broke off when I was using it. My liquidiser is an old which I didn't know the model number. So I took a chance on this one and it fits perfectly and it came with a rubber seal, and the grind can now be used again which I wasn't expecting, so I also ordered some rubber replacement seals . I've added a photo of the original base liquidiser that fits the replacement base to give others an idea of which Kenwood it fits, hope this helps other customers.

Poor expperience
This did not fit my appliance so had to return it.The charge for the return is much more than that published when the return is requested. Very misleading and disappointing.

Exactly what needed
Item exactly as described and just what was needed to refurbish existing blender as previous base leaked constantly. After replacing original base, blender works like new.

Nothing wrong with the product....l just ordered the wrong one. Suppliers have been good about it though. If they had what l wanted l would be happy to buy from them again.
