I bought the Flexi New Classic 8m Retractable Dog Leash for my dog, and it’s been amazing for our walks. Whether we’re exploring wooded paths or strolling through the park, my pup gets the freedom to sniff and roam, while I still have full control. The leash is super strong, perfect for my dog who loves to explore every inch of the trail (or road). It extends smoothly, and the brake system works like a charm when I need to rein him in (squirrels!). The leash handle is comfortable to hold, even on long walks, and the 8 meters of tape give plenty of room for my dog to feel like he’s on his own adventure. It’s rated for dogs up to 50kg, and even though my dog isn’t quite that heavy, it’s nice knowing I have the security if he decides to pull a bit harder. Bonus points for how sturdy it feels, this is not one of those flimsy retractable leashes that makes you worry about it snapping! The leash rolls in and out smoothly, and the tape itself is nice and durable, even after multiple muddy walks. If you’ve got a dog that loves to explore but you still want the comfort of control, this leash is perfect. Plus, it’s surprisingly lightweight for such a strong product!

Only just got it but can Immediately tell that it's quality and gonna last. Have bought 3 from another more expensive brand on here which have failed in the locking mechanism. This feels right. Can't fault German engineering eh?..

A nice product that works well initially however over time the braid frays a little meaning it can get stuck when retracting.

Always buy flexi, cant go wrong. They last years

I’m glad I went with the brand flexi. I got the little container that clips on underneath, which has been a game changer. The lead case is sleek and streamlined. It’s robust and lightweight, but doesn’t offer a lot of control. The lead is not piped, and can result in rope burn when passing through hands. I hope it lasts longer than some of its predecessors.

I like this brand i have only just purchased this as i like to have a spare lead This is made well and feels secure & strong, it feels comfortable in the hand not bulky or heavy the tape looks strong & retracts quick it doesn’t jam up its not chew proof so got to keep your eyes every where especially with puppy teeth they’re like little sharks

I wanted a retractable TAPE lead for my German Pointer. I don't like the cord type that can tangle easily. It had to be suitable for a dog up to 50 kg. First plus point is the tape style, which has not yet tangled (I have used daily for the last 2 months) The tape has not slacked and is always at a good tension and as my dog moves further or closer to me. The tape retracts very well into the handle. The length can be adjusted and locked in place via the locking button. (I read a few people had trouble with the lock, but for me it seems easy enough) Some Tips: You want to stop your dog: Press the brake button! You want your dog to walk close by: Shorten the lead and keep your dog at your side with the brake locked. Leading the dog: Lock the brake. Place the included safety loop around the dog's neck, parallel to the collar. Pull the hook of your Flexi through all three metal rings (loop - collar - loop). When using a harness, pull the safety loop through at least one strap of the harness and link the rings on the safety loop using the D-ring and the snap hook. Free run: Always hold the Flexi by the hand grip. As long as you do not activate the brake button, the rope or belt will easily extend and retract. Stopping: Press the brake button with your thumb. Let go of the brake button when the dog comes back to you, so that the lead is always taut. Retracting: Swing your arm forward while holding the Flexi, press the brake button with your thumb, and pull your arm back toward you. When you let go of the brake button and swing your arm forward again with the Flexi, the lead will automatically retract. Repeat this process until your dog is at the desired distance from you. (this works easier than it sounds). Heeling: Bring the dog back to you, press the brake button, and then slide the brake lock forward with your thumb. To release the brake lock, pull the lock backward with your thumb. You can also add a 'Multi Box' for waste bags or treats. Also available is a 'LED Lighting System' for those winter evening or morning walks.

軽くてコンパクト。巻取り性能もスムーズで長持ち。やっぱりフレキシです。 ３メートルは長くはないですが、広場などではなく、住宅街を歩く時などはこれくらいが丁度良い長さです。 ただしこの商品は小さいがゆえに持ち手の穴も狭い。 痩せ型の男ですが、指４本入れて持つのは無理があり、人差し指か小指を入れずに３本で持つことになるため、たまに落としそうになることがあるのが辛いところ。手の小さめの女性の方ならぎりぎりかぴったりでしょうか。持ち手の穴だけ大きくしてくれたら満点です。 ８メートルのテープタイプも持っていますが、こちらは逆に大きくてかなり重いです。手が小さい方以外は5メートルが万能で丁度良いかもしれません。

以前使っていた物が古くなったので購入しました。きっちりストップ出来て 使いやすいです。

Excellent lead. I use it for a German shepherd. If your big dog doesn't have a habit of chewing on theirs then it's great. If they do tend to carry or chew theirs you will have to train them not to do that or they will wear it down

Got this after trying a few other for our 6kg cav puppy. Saw some photos about the smaller size and decided to go the medium size. It's perfect for his current size and for what he will grow in to. The locking mechanism is great and effective, allows him to sniff and stuff for a bit then run to catch up.
