Does it fit a slim clear case?

Yes, it does. I’ve got one on mine and it fits fine.

Is this a thin hard case or is it on the thicker side i need a thin hard case for me purse

Thick. It's the size of a Nintendo Switch with the intent to protect that device. If the purse is huge go for it. If you're looking for a clutch type situation, that's a stretch.

Does the charger fit in this as well?

No the charger and the console will not fit in the case together
