I used 2 drops in butter cream icing and the flavour was good. 2 drops in my banana muffins with actual bananas in and the flavour was good. Used in muffins with no bananas and there was no flavor. Use to enhance not to replace

I often make banana cake but bananas bought here can be bland. When on holiday in Peru I was able to eat bananas picked ripe from the tree and this essence captures some of that flavour. You really have to shake it out of the bottle though!

My first impression after opening the bottle was of a truly fantastic scent of banana and only a few drops are needed to add a great flavour. I tested it on someone who didn't know they were eating a cake with flavouring rather than real bananas and they were completely fooled. I will be getting more of this product and trying some of the other flavours too.

I made a smoothie with this, 250ml, I ended up putting 20 drops in to get it kind of tasting a bit like bannana... Not terrible, but not great either....

Made a banana cake for hubby's birthday. Used real banana for cake mixture but used this for the butter cream as banana would turn black. I added a little at a time as I didn't want it to taste too strong. It tastes lovely and not artificial like some flavourings do. Have to admit I was suprised how well this large cake turned out. Everyone loved it. Definately worth the money.

Had to put about 20 drops in to even get a vague banana flavour, but left an aftertaste so binned it. Waste of money. Better off with banana Nesquik

100% worth the money! I used this to create a banana cream buttercream for a customers banoffee birthday cake and it was amazing! Adding a little at a time is better than going by the guideline on the box as it is strong stuff. I also made a banoffee whipped cream for another desert and it was great!
