What is the reason for needing a solenoid? How will the system run without one?

The solenoid will control the co2 output. When turn off the solenoid, there will not be co2 out from the generator. If without the solenoid, the co2 will keep output.

How long do I have to wait before using the set up in my tank?

You can use it as soon as the needle is in the green.

How can i replace the needle valve. Mine is broken alternating between full throttle or 0?

This isn’t a replacement part for the co2 generator it’s valve for a co2 tank. I recommend contacting the manufacturer.

For a 4l co2 generator, should i put in 600-800 gram each of material a&b? also do i pour in 300ml water or more? i've read different opinions online.

I use 600 ml for the material each and 800 ml of water I freeze the water in try"s that make long round ice cubes the cube are made to put in water bottles
