Is the use of a power adapter optional? Can this be powered just from the HDMI cable?

My tv is is about 20m away from my skybox with hdmi/cat5e extension via ceiling. will this switch work to send my sky signal to my tv? thanks.

We don't recommend the use of cat 5 HDMI extensions with our HDMI switches since the signal isn't very stable.
