Coffee Scale
The problem with coffee scales is that they are grossly overpriced. Ridiculously overpriced, in fact. The vast majority of kitchen and coffee/jewellery scales are manufactured in China and it wouldn't surprise me if most of them are made in the same factory.I bought really cheap scales to weigh some jewellery a few years ago and when I bought a decent coffee machine I used those scales, which did the job perfectly until recently when i got them wet and they went to scales heaven. I seriously contemplated lashing out £140 on coffee scales, but saw sense and bought these Coffee Gator ones at £25.99. I've had them only a few days, but find them excellent. They are well made, accurate and have a built in timer. The controls (buttons) have a satisfying feel to them. They also fit very nicely under the portafilter on my coffee machine's drip tray. Highly recommended.

Easy to use, seems to be accurate
I trust this with small quantities like 18g of coffee which is more than can be said for my normal kitchen scale. The scale is smaller than a kitchen scale and just the right size to hold a coffee mug with AeroPress on top. The timer function doesn't have an audible alarm which is a disappointment. This is probably the least expensive scale that can be trusted for weighing coffee for a single cup. It is well made from good quality materials and I would buy it again.

Great Scales
Bought for weighing coffee to improve my shots! But, also very useful for cooking, takes proper AAA batteries (included), when replacements are required, no need to hunt around for the CR types. Very easy to use, clear display, comes with a plastic tray that also doubles as a cover to keep all the gunk off. Also has a rubber cover, which is easy to remove if you do make a mess.

Issues when using with espresso machine.
I bought these as a mid price replacement for cheaper £14.99 scales, but didn't want to make the jump to £100.00 plus models.I use these for pour over (Clever Dripper) and espresso (Sage Bambino). They work OK for pour over, though the scales can lag a second or so when weighing. This is no big issue for me at home. What is more of an issue is tearing off when using under my Sage Bambino. The scales zero, but then jump about by a few grams even before the espresso has started to drip. This isn't caused by the machine vibrating as the scales move before the machine even starts. It does this even when I turn the scales off/back on as a way to tear them. Frustrating.

Does a great job!
Accurately weighs my coffee beans and water for my coffee. Easy to clean as well as store.Great timer function which is handy as I was previously using my phone or iPad to time things which was a pain.Screen lights up which is a good function. Product feels solid and built to last.Excellent value for money as well.

Great tool, if a little laggy
Really useful tool to have such an accurate measurement alongside the timer.I think the weight indicator is a bit slow to react but got used to it.

Rebadged budget scale. Slow display. Clickety clickety click buttons.
As others have stated, this is just a rebadged budget scale. In fact, the exact same scale without the Coffee Gator branding is also available on Amazon for half the price. But nevermind half, I've had scales for a third of the price that performed better. The main issue is that a scale intended for coffee requires that the display is super responsive. If you are making a pourover, the weight is continuously changing as you pour and you need the scale to reflect that in real-time. Instead, you find yourself having to continuously stop your pour and wait for the scale to catch up. It also has horrible old-school clicky buttons that often require more than one attempt to register. Again, even my cheapo scale has touch sensitive buttons - and no this is not replacing said cheapo scale which is still faring just fine! This was intended as an extra scale to keep elsewhere. To top it off, when you go into your orders to start a return it states that the product is not eligible for return. This seems to make no sense as it was FBA, and obviously not a product with any special hygiene considerations once opened.

1/10 Could do much better.
Last week, all was fine, now rubbish. Has given up the ghost, buttons dont work.Annoyingly, outside return window as ive had it about 37days and it's not used daily even.Since i had it i had found that by pressing the timer button it altered the registered weight setting. So if weight was zero it might bump up to .3 or something... so i used my phone as a timer. Now the units dont move, weight doesnt zero, i take the bettery out put it in, everything is zero... this is not what should happen. Its just cheap rubbish, looks okay but actually crap. There is so much low quality stuff out there. Also I paid £13.99 on 21/11... it is now screaming 37% price drop ! £21 !!! Go figure what quality this company is.... There is absolutely no product control and no customer service... avoid.
