Is there a difference between CLI 251 XL and CLI 251?

Interesting. XL costs 1.81 per ml of ink while the regular cartridge costs 1.44 per ml of ink. Am I missing something? XL appears to cost 54% more for only 22% more ink

What is the expiration date of the combo?

I've never seen an expiration date on Canon inks. I've kept them for up to two years or so without any problem. This is not like the problem I've had with HP inks that never last long.But I only use genuine Canon, not "equivalent" inks.
