Um yes. Where has this been?! 2 siberian huskies, in dire need of help with their undercoats. This thing is amazing. The hair just keeps coming! Perfect for getting that undercoat out! Of course with huskies it's a daily task but...🤷🏽‍♀️this brush makes it easier. The more teeth side works better on the finer sections of their coats (sides of their bellies) that's the only place I wish the brush were more fine toothed for. Their coarse back hair, neck, tails, etc it's a dream. As you can see it doesn't bother them a bit!

Our boxer seemed extra hairy most of the summer. Finally decided that the hair glove just did t seem to be working and bought this brush. Boxers are short haired dogs and while they shed it’s never that much, usually. The first time I used it on him I was amazed. The thick gobs of hair that came out of him sorta scared at me first because I thought I was pulling all his hair out and hurting him. Until I saw he was leaning into the brush. I took off so much hair that it covered our deck. Wads of hair every stroke I made. This is really nice once you get into the swing of it. Pull against the grain and make a couple of swipes, then push with the grain and a wad of hair comes off the brush. I scooped this off with my other hand and was collecting it so it wasn’t blowing all over the place. With the round tips you can’t dig in and scrape the skin but watch for rolls in the skin, flatten them before brushing over them. I have brushed him now four times and he still hasn’t lost all the hair but you can feel the difference from the hair I have managed to get out. He enjoys it and he looks forward to it. If this broke today I’d have another one ordered immediately. Thick coated dogs? You need this! Boxers aren’t supposed to have thick undercoats but this thing found one. I can’t imagine what this would do for a husky or a German Sheppard. Awesome product!

This Hair Brush - Double Sided tangle remover and de-shedder is fantastic! It is a must if you have a double coated fur ball. My 161lb Anatolian/Pyrenees loves it. It has made his top coat feel silky & soft. I only have to vacuum the floors once a week rather than every day. I wish that I would've bought it sooner.

With three rescue cats that shed heavily, I am constantly dealing with pet fur, so I was excited to try this Maxpower Planet shedding rake. It pulls an incredible amount of fluff from my British Shorthair that I didn't even know he had! I like having two sides for different grooming jobs. The 9-tooth side works well for stubborn tangles and mats, while the 17-tooth side is useful for removing loose undercoat and excess fur. The rounded teeth are gentle enough to use on my pets without feeling sharp or scratchy against their skin. It removes a surprising amount of loose hair without the uncomfortable pulling I have experienced with some other grooming tools. Cleanup is particularly easy because of the one-button release. I simply press the button and the collected fur comes off the brush instead of having to pick hair out of the teeth. The lightweight design and nonslip rubber handle also make longer grooming sessions more comfortable for me. This is a great value for a grooming tool. Most importantly, my pets actually seem to enjoy being brushed with it, which makes dealing with all that shedding much easier.

Does a good job on my German Shepherd's coat. Gets our a LOT of fur without ever hurting his skin. Recommended!

The best brush for my cat out there! Unbelievable, how much hair it got rid of the first time of using it. My cat looks healthier and more beautiful every day. A must buy, you won’t be disappointed.

This is the best money spent great invention

This is the third one of these that I have bought. This one was for a gift for a friend with schnauzers. This undercoat rake is wonderful until it no longer can take out any more undercoat, then I switched to a rake that has more teeth that can remove another layer of undercoat and eventually I go to the stripping knives. The undercoat rake is so easy to use and cannot hurt your dog. I have taught many people how to manage dogs coat

Wow! I have a husky shepherd mix that hates to be brushed. A gentle dog … until you try to brush her… then she growls and snarls. But she is a major shedder. I have bought other deshedding brushes which she does not tolerate. After reading the reviews on the Maxpower brush I thought I would give it a try. I had nothing to lose but the price of another brush. I tried it on my dog this morning. No snarling or growling. She just stood there while I combed out a considerable amount of her shed. I am so thankful I bought this brush!

Good for long hair only

doesn't work at all on short haired cats. But it was my fault for not reading the descriptions properly.
