Coffee taste fine to me not too bitter. The cups are a good quality after using a couple packs. I haven’t had any issues with them at all.

I like the Amazon Fresh capsules. I have tried nearly all of them now, including decaff (a excellent hig quality cheap dupe for actual Nespresso brand, which is like $40 for same amount!) and I was excited to see an Espresso Stong Dark Roast option (12/13!). It is good, but I expected a deeper flavor. It is kind of missing that "chew on a coffee bean" flavor that a good espresso shot has. I dont think it has anything to do with quality, it is just the roast level as I experienced similar with Nespresso. I love deep dark bold coffee, the stronger the better, but I dont want any bright tangy notes (leave that to light roasts and most mediums).This has a hint of tang, which is usually never present in a dark roast. But I am being very picky. It is good, and I would actually buy it again. Though now I need to make it side by side with their Espresso Dark Roast (9/13) to see which I like better.I made it at 2 ounces, and consumed it black. I nearly always drink my coffee black, unsweetened. I think it would be perfectly fine for use as a base for a fancy drink (cream, syrups, etc), which I am about to make after submitting this review (because now it sounds good once I thought about it, haha).I think it makes a pleasant 4 or 6 ounce cuppa as needed. But as a single 2 ounce, it is not quite what I was hoping for.But as I said, I would consider it again. I tend to really like Amazon brands, and their capsules are so far very reasonably priced especially in comparison to actual Nespresso name brand capsules with same overall quality.Solid 4 stars.

I was pretty skeptical about this purchase because I only like more intense/bold espresso, but the price was so good I had to give it a try. The shipment arrived an hour ago, I immediately brewed a cup and have already placed another order so I could take advantage of this sale price. I got 50 pods (yes FIFTY), for about $2 more than I pay for a pack of 10 in another brand. This is an amazing deal for great-tasting Nespresso pods. Thanks Amazon!!!

My new daily drink! I’ve tried them all. This is a great buy and tastes better then all of them

for the money this is a great product, it is full strength roast, standard nespresso size. There is a slight acidic bite that I detect sometimes but its mild. All in all its a very nice espresso. I still keep some starbucks around at 2x cost for weekends when I can sit and enjoy.

I’ve been testing these Amazon Fresh capsules for a while, and the best word to describe them is "okay." If you’re used to the bold, rich flavor of name-brand pods like Nespresso or Peet’s, you’ll likely find these a bit underwhelming.Pros:Price: Definitely more budget-friendly than the premium brands.Functionality: They fit and work in the machine without any issues.Cons:Weak Flavor: The coffee lacks the depth and "kick" I expect. It feels like there’s simply less coffee packed into each pod.Build Quality: Some of the capsules arrived looking a bit "soft" or dented. The aluminum foil covering feels flimsy and loose, which reinforces the feeling that they aren't filled to capacity.The Verdict:If you just need a caffeine fix and aren't too picky about a robust crema or intense flavor profile, these do the job. However, if you really enjoy the craft of a good espresso, you might find these a bit "meh." They’re fine for a backup, but they won't be replacing my Peet's pods anytime soon.

Out the gate, these are NOT for the Virtuo model.Trying to be nice to daughter and get her some Nespresso pods. Not knowing there are different models, I bought the wrong stuff.I just have some kind of weird moral issue with returning products as a result of my error, so I did not return them. Everything was plain as day in the listing. Cannot fault Amazon. I was just oblivious to the whole Nespresso world. So I put a post up on my neighborhood FB page, "Ya want em, come get them." Someone came an' got 'em.Their feedback after using was along the lines of "Did not know this product existed. I'll be buying more when I use these up."
