My son has been hounding me about this Funko Pop for months. I ordered one for him to come on Valentines.. it was broken the demobats were flying around the box. So I sent for replacement, that one came broken as well. Sent for 2 more the third one was broken as well. The 4th came in perfect condition. If the box shakes it's broke! Those bats are not suppose to be flying around the box.

The reviews were a bit intimidating since most seem to have come with a lot of damage. Mostly with the demobats fallen off, I wouldn’t risk fixing it since the box can crack and break easily. But luckily mine came in perfect condition, maybe with a small scratch at the bottom (barely noticeable) but I’ve seen worse funko conditions even at the store physically. I recommend to buy it when it’s cheaper (maybe $40-$50) and save money instead of paying $70-$100 for it since it’s a hit or miss with the damage and condition. The only issue I had was that the shipping got delayed a little bit, but it came and it looks amazing. I can’t complain. It’s worth the try.

Wow! This is an amazing set and a must have for hardcore Stranger Things fans! However, it took three of these to get one that was not broken. As other reviews state, the demobats break off easily in transit and I don't believe you're meant to open the outer plastic box to fix them. Rather than reordering this last one, I had Amazon "replace" the second broken one and it came quickly through UPS and was better packaged than the first two. If you don't mind the hassle of several returns, it's totally worth purchasing. It's substantial in size and the details are incredible. This is such an iconic scene, I believe this set will only go up in value.

Like other buyers, my product came with two of the demo bats broken off of the pegs, no real safety precautions in the box either to prevent further damage. There were some faint scratches on the plastic protective shell as well as some paint smears. All of these things were pretty simple fixes, however, upon further inspection, it seems quite clear from the packaging alone that the product is a reproduction and NOT a genuine Funko licensed product. With the significant discount I don’t personally mind, as it still looks incredible, but for avid collectors, you now have the knowledge to buy from Funko direct or another partnering company.

I spent $60+ bucks on this just for it to be broken!! I waited over 2 weeks and it's cracked, the only reason it's not a 1 star review is because of how much I like the product. It's so cool but I definitely would not recommend it because of the fact that it was cracked, scratched, and broken. My demobat was all of the way on the other side of the box and would not go back on. The corner of my glass was broken and got everywhere! It sucks aswell as the glass on the outside, it was scratched up and it looked horrible. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY there's like a 2 percent chance that it would be only slightly broken so I don't recommend it!

When it comes to reviewing collectible dust collectors (pardon the pun), I like to think that I do so in an unbiased manner with my rose colored glasses remaining in the drawer of my night stand. I review from the standpoint of a consumer and not not as a fanboy. I have been critical of Stranger Things merchandise I have purchased in the past and if I think something is not good or a poor value, I say it like it is. I mention this because in this particular case...this thing is FREAKING AWESOME! It is both huge and beautiful, and I am quite happy with my purchase.So why did I only give it 4 stars you may ask?Mine came with a small hairline crack in the clear plastic near the top of the piece. It isn't noticeable from afar but can be seen on close inspection. For me, it's not worth returning it at the moment since these things are currently in high demand and being scalped by 3rd party Amazon sellers and on Ebay left and right, but it is still a slight blemish on something that is otherwise amazing product. I believe the problem is that Funko boxed these things in an outer cardboard box without any kind of protection, and this kind of clear plastic is brittle and easily cracked. I suspect other people who order online will end up having the same problem. If I can get my hands on a perfect one within the return window at a non scalper price I may return this one, but if not I will still be satisfied with my purchase. My advice: Buy in person if possible assuming they become available at local retail, or wait and buy it from Amazon 1st party since they are good about returns, and also have local return options at Kohls and Whole Foods.Update 4/29/23 - There have been several reviews from people who have received their items with significant damage. I apparently got lucky with having just a small hairline crack that isn't noticeable unless you look closely. This is a big shame since I think this is an awesome piece. Because of this, I would recommend purchasing online only if returning it to the seller isn't difficult and paying return shipping isn't required. If I had read about shipping damage from several reviews before I made my purchase, I may not have ordered it online at all unless it was from Amazon with free returns to my local Kohls store.
