Had it a year now and still going strong, magnets havent dropped out like I half feared they would and fits my sage porta filter perfectly. Solid item.

Compatible with my Sage 54mm portafilter, attaches magnetically and fits under my grinder and does its job of reducing the amount of mess.

Feels well done, strurdy in hand and strong magnets, which will attach to any portafilter. Keeps the workspace clean of all the runaway coffee grounds.

One of the best accessories I have purchased, with the proviso that this is when used with a WDT. Using a WDT without this accessory will result in significant loss of ground coffee. In essence, the result of using the WDT will be more uniform shot doses for a given extraction time. Importantly, I found this resolved the frustrating issue whereby the first double shot of the day always ran more freely, usually resulting in well over 36g. I had no problems with the magnets attaching this to the standard basket supplied with the Sage Barista Impress Express nor the basket supplied with the Normcore Bottomless Portafilter. Highly Recommended.

Bought to contain overspill coffee from grinder, but unfortunately does not fit my barista express on top of my porta filter.

I was extremely skeptical when ordering as loads of comments are on about it not being magnetic. This is a normcore product which are supposed to be half decent so I thought I have to give it a go.. At first I rolled my eyes as I thought all the comments were right as it did not stay attached to my basket when using my wdt after grinding! I investigated and magnets were indeed there, so I thought I'd try another basket and what do you know, super strong magnet. Please please check your baskets!! Cheap baskets will have lower quality stainless steel which is NOT magnetic such as 304/316. Stainless steel which IS magnetic is 410/420/440. This is an absolute fantastic product and makes life a lot easier for not making a mess and having no annoying gaps such as some other products that insert within the basket. Easy to use, perfect for on my 54mm Baskets and will be my go to from now on. Shout out to normcore for producing a brilliant product!

This is one of the most useful accessories you could get for your espresso machine. Dosing the right amount of coffee without creating too much mess, especially if you use a WDT tool to distribute and break down the grinds, is much easier with one of these around. It feels well made, the small magnets around the edge are just strong enough that you will never knock this off accidentally, and it's last me a good year with not a single issue. Really easy to clean, just wipe to a damp cloth every once in a while.

The fit and finish of this dossing funnel is excellent. The magnets are strong and hold the funnel to the portafilter well. The portafilter can be turned upside down and shaken somewhat without the funnel falling. I mention this because I’ve seen the other review that suggests the magnets do not work, I would suggest that somehow they had faulty/demagnetised magnets as I think the level of magnetisation here is spot on. I like that this funnel does don’t interfere or touch the coffee grounds in the basket, I have seen some other that leave a ridge around the circumference of the filter basket. My only issue is the price, I do think it’s slightly excessive. However, it’s a nicely designed product that functions as expected.

Fits perfectly on both my stock breville filter and the normcore 54mm. Magnets feel plenty strong and makes dosing a lot cleaner/easier, and prevents spillage when using a WDT tool

I bought a cheap one for AED 35 . It was well made and the magnets were good, but it had an inner lip that disturbed the coffee and didn’t stay in the stand. So I returned it. Now, this cost x 8 times more, but wow! It’s so well made , there are 12 really high quality magnets and it works so much better. It’s just not worth the money. , hence the four stars… Now for AED 100? That would be worth it and five stars….

We are new to the espresso scene and bought a Breville Bambino plus machine. We've slowly added accessories, including a normcore portafilter. This dosing funnel soon followed and it's pretty nice. Does a great job keeping grinds in while using WDT distribution tool. The magnetic seal works perfectly and feels very high quality. We've had this for several months and had no issue. It is expensive, but in the long run when making a couple of coffees a day, you can justify it!
