I don't usually write negative reviews, but I want to warn buyers: I've purchased many face paints and sets on Amazon and this is by far the least satisfying. I purchased it so that I could use the color "blends" as backgrounds and sweeps of color to put things like stars and butterflies on top. I can't seem to get ANY color at all from some of the cakes, and only some light color from others. The cake with the blue colors seems to work as it should. I do like the plastic templates for stars and patterns, but the color quality of the paints in this set make it a loss for me. Next time I'll stick to Maydear sets, which work very well and were only a couple of dollars more — my bad for trying to save. They also arrived with the label stuck directly on the product box and impossible to remove without ripping the package — luckily I wasn't planning to use as a gift.

My daughter and I are learning to face paint and this was an excellent set to learn with. The colors are very pigmented, go on smooth and the pallets are easy to clean. The sponges absorb well, and are better than the make up sponges were using. I like the added feature of the stencils. As long as you don't use too much paint, they work well. The jewels are not super sticky, so they fall off quickly. I would like to see a mix of red and orange and black with more colors, but over all I'm super happy with it.

These were very cheap and didnt have like any pigment, they also foam up

Aunque llego sin sobre y no estaba sellada la caja, por dentro estaba perfecto, los colores son hermosos, tal cual la publicidad. Fácil de aplicar, fácil de quitar! Lo menos cómo de usar son las plantillas porque aunque son flexibles no son tan firmes y se levanta ciertas partes del diseño. Pero de resto todo me encantó

Easy to remove with baby wipes or wash cloth. We are doing more practice runs with the split cakes but we love them. I am going to buy more once I have more parties booked My daughter and I love these

I love the color combinations and the idea of the split cakes for face painting, but the pigment transfer was not good at all. Colors were way too sheer. I brought this kit to a birthday party and ended up not using it and throwing it away :(

Includes a lot of items for the price. Love it for practice, but would not use it on children as it’s a little thin and prefer a better quality.
