I was looking to install new curtains and, due to living in a city, I wanted blackout curtains. Looking through Amazon's catalogue I settled upon a pair of Pony Dance curtains. They were relatively inexpensive compared to other brands, did a great job with the size selection and offered a nice range of colours, too. Well done there. Only thing I was worried about was that, with them being listed as blackout and thermal curtains, they'd end up being some bulky chunky things, seemingly made from chip board backed by corrugated iron. So what arrived completely exceeded my expectations. The curtain material is about 1-2 mm thick but the weave is so dense that it completely blocks the light from getting through. As the curtain material is not thick that means that the curtains themselves are not at all heavy. They are really quite light to lift. The pair of curtains I ordered was delivered in a large postage envelope rather than a box, so that might give you an idea of the lack of "heft" to these curtains. The hems are properly (machine) stitched, not glued/heat sealed as I have seen elsewhere. Scores a plus, I think. The eyelets for the curtain pole are about 1.5 inches (guessing) in diameter, so enough space to easily get a pole through. The curtain material itself feels fairly smooth, almost a light downy texture and the colour is exactly what I asked for, a deep merlot red. What an fantastic product, and an incredible find on Amazon. For anyone looking for new curtains I'd recommend that you have a look at the Pony Dance range of curtains. Comparing the price against the quality, these are almost "a steal".

Lovely curtain, I've been looking for a single panel for a while that fit where I needed it to go and was a nice colour, but didn't break the bank. The olive green colour is almost spot on to the listing and looks great in person. Very smooth, silky fabric, not too creased, and is exactly the right size. Unfortunately, this curtain definitely isn't blackout, and i question whether it's thermal because it has no lining of any sort. It's not an issue for me, and it blocks out plenty of light overnight, but in the early morning and during the day there is very little light blockage. Attached image was taken at 7am for reference. A liner would help, but it's unfortunate it isn't as advertised.

After searching on line for a specific curtain drop ( non standard) I found these curtains which are the perfect measurement needed. For the price the quality is very good. I ordered 7 curtains in all for 3 patio windows and a door. They are all identical in dimensions and fabric. The colour is as illustrated, there are no wobbly hems, no puckered seams and the eyelet fittings are all neat and tidy. The fabric itself is lightweight and soft to the touch but not insubstantial. I have not hung them up yet but I am pretty sure the drape will be good. I have saved an awful lot of money as made to measures would have cost a fortune ! I am really very pleased with my purchase.

Great product at a great price, definitely effective for blackout

I struggled to find 2 panel curtains in 66x84 for my patio doors. So I ordered two single panel 52x84. They arrived today and are perfect. The material is very soft to the touch, the colour is a perfect match for my newly decorated lounge, and they are just the right size. They are not total black out but they are very close. All said, I'm very happy with this perchase.

These are nice, but these are definitely not thermal curtains, only blackouts. I have been offered a 5% discount after I addressed this with the seller, what i appreciated, but I haven't received yet.

Der Vorhang ist fest und Blickdicht. Sehr schöner Stoff und tolle Farbe. Haben ihn zur Abtrennung zwischen zwei Räumen und es funktioniert super. Würde ich wieder kaufen und kann es auch nur empfehlen.

Après en avoir acheté une paire pour ma cuisine, j'en ai repris d'autre pour la chambre du petit, puis pour mon salon... Je pense mêmes que d'ici quelque moi toute les pièces auront leurs doubles rideaux PONY DANCE. Rien à redire sur la qualité, les couleurs sont très belle et ils sont parfaitement opaque surtout très pratique pour la chambre de bébé ou il peut faire sa sieste avec une lumière bien tamisé. Je recommande vivement surtout avec un prix très abordable.

Son estupendas y opacas. El tejido super suave y de fácil planchado, de buena calidad. El articulo llego en el tiempo indicado, bien embaladas. Repetiría la compra sin dudarlo.

Mi ha cambiato la vita. L'ho usata tutta questa estate. Ho un terrazzino battuto dal sole. Non mi piaceva chiudere gli scuri per lasciare fuori il calore durante il giorno (non ho aria condizionata). Ho preso questa tenda e la mettevo al di là della ringhiera del terrazzino (che è molto stretto) fissandola con due mollette perchè non si muovesse se c'era vento. In questo modo, passava un po' di aria, ma non il calore. Potevo lasciare scuri e vetri aperti anche durante il giorno. E durante la notte ero come a finestre aperte ma senza che da fuori vedessero dentro. L'ho fissata con un tubo a espansione, senza mettere chiodi, ma se viene vento forte fa vela e se è fissata con le mollette il tubo tende a cadere. Funziona così bene che piuttosto che mettere una tenda da sole fissa costosissima monterò un tubo fisso e lascerò questa tenda. Comunque è pesante. Ad agosto neanche le mettevo le mollette, e se proprio c'era vento tornavo e la trovavo spostata. Il colore è bello scuro, se la chiudo a perpendicolo fa un buio che permette di riposare (certo, non passa aria). Se si vuole tenerla bella verticale anche in caso di vento forse serve cucire dei pesi sul fondo. Dentro casa non sarebbe necessario, ma io la uso fuori. Perfetta. Molto felice del mio acquisto. La consiglio. (il mio colore è verde salvia, elegante, neutro, la mia casa ha colori neutri alle pareti e nell'arredamento, bianco grigio, legno per terra, ho solo una parete colorata in cucina, e il verde salvia si sposa perfettamente - l'avrei presa ecrù ma non c'era la misura) Ultimo dettaglio .Io devo chiudere le finestre se piove, il pavimento di legno è delicato. Se non pioveva proprio tanto, la tenda in verticale riparava anche dalla pioggia. Certo, non se c'è vento forte che la sposta e fa entrare la tempesta. Non è impermeabile, ma ripara un po'.
