Will this ink show up on black paper?

They all do, but not all do it well. The lighter colors and the gold are the best for black paper.

Is the ink in these pens water-based? I am looking for a pen that will not smear when the paper it is on gets wet.

I had a cup sweat on some papers and it didn’t smear per-say but it did Dan the ink out a little. I hope that makes sense.
