Learn to Draw...Animals!

Such a fun gift for young aspiring artists!!!

My kids really love to draw but are still learning. This book is ideal for teaching how to draw cute but simple drawings. Nothing complex or too difficult. I was really impressed how much better my 5 year old did drawing a horse after she practiced following the directions in this book. So many books I looked at were too complex for young school aged kids, but I thought this was spot on for my 5 year old novice artist. I myself enjoy drawing but have very little formal training and I enjoyed using it to draw some cute pictures for my kids to color. We use this as a fun craft time activity to do together that doesn’t require planning time or costly materials. I plan to get more of these soon.

Such a cute & helpful drawing book!

So far a good item, explains step by step what to draw in order. The book is a page size long way & wideness. Nice for 5+ yr olds & any age beginners to draw. But I was hoping for the price it had more pages of animals to draw. It is a thin book, it's a lot less than 1/2 of inch of pages. Overall the book is an okay buy. Thank you

I purchased this for my 6 year old son & 8 year old daughter. The pages are very well made for durability. The pictures all have very well drawn step by step instructions. The price is so great!!

Given as a gift to a 6 year old. Easy to follow and great as a gift for the budding artist.

Not all children learn to draw "naturally"! My granddaughter (older elementary) was frustrated with her inability to draw like her peers, but enjoyed using this book to draw more recognizable animals. She worked through the book methodically, even though she usually avoids how-to books.

But the long cold, northern winter made it the perfect gift. As much as he enjoys reading and Leggos, it becomes the same old thing after several big storms. This has generated some excitement and he loves learning new drawing ideas.

I am delighted with this book - it features easy to follow plain simple instructions on how to draw 44 animals. I am not an artist and struggling with visualisation, it is a great tool to keep both kids and adults occupied alike. The animals come from a variety of topics and cover various climates. I specifically liked the attention to detail when on the same page you would see a generic puppy and a poodle or a generic bird and a parrot. Another page features a butterfly and a dragonfly - both examples add extra educational value. Overall very pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend.
