Q: Are the stabilisers built in in to the speaker or are they optional?

The stabilisers are packed separately in the box, but you do need to use them, because the speakers are tall and would be relatively unstable without them. Give Creative Audio a ring and we will sort you out a good package deal on these speakers - we are one of Q Acoustics' biggest UK dealers.

Q: Can these speaker be loaded with sand . My last floorstanders Cambridge Audio sx80 were alittle top heavy and easily knocked over

No! The cavity at the bottom of the speaker has a port to improve the bass response so the volume of space is necessary. The speakers do come with stabiliser feet but any speaker needs to be isolated from possible knocks and accidental contact. Even stand mount speakers are not very stable and prone to topple if knocked.

Q: What are the actual dimensions height, width, including stabilisers and depth?

Cabinet = H 1000mm x D 298mm x W 200mm (the stabiliser base legs make it wider from 200mm to 310mm
