These chairs are an awesome deal. They have a retractable footrest if you want to put your feet up and a retractable cup holder, so if you don’t like the look of the cup holder you can tuck it away when it’s not in use. The chairs are heavy, sturdy and good solid quality. I was pleasantly surprised. The do take some time to assemble. My teenage son put them together for me. Have been used all summer and look just as good as when I bought them. Highly recommend!!

First, I strongly recommend you do not try to put the chair together when you are really sleep deprived. This will prevent you having to re-put the arms on three times because your brain keeps telling you the wrong thing. Anyway... the chair is simple to put together and the instructions are clear. I did it alone, and the only suggestion I have ( besides not being sleep deprived) is to find a piece of furniture in your house the right height to support the chair arms while you attach them. You also should know that there are NO extra bolts, nuts, or washers included. This is important. There was one washer that had never separated from another one, so technically I was short one and had to Jerry-rig something. The chair feels heavy duty, yet it maneuvered easily out the door to the balcony. The cup/glass holders retract under the arms if you aren't using them. I have lower back issues, and when I sat in the chair I felt fully supported. It's comfortable, it is really comfortable. I had to convince myself to get out of it and continue cleaning up the mess I made. I'm very happy with this purchase, and here's hoping for many years of enjoyment.

Easy to put together and is built well. Very comfortable with nice wide arms. Perfect for the front of a house. The material feels and looks like it will last a very long time. The negatives is the foot rest is not easy to pull out and gets jammed easily, especially if already sitting. The cup holder is good for average size mugs but larger ones won't fit. There is another swivel holder for a wine glass that also works well.

Love these chairs! Very easy to assemble. It does assemble easier with 2 people. They are comfortable and look great.

Great product. I was skeptical at first. Worried about the plastic holding up. It holds up great. So far. I will say it looks a bit difficult to put together. But it is very simple. It gives you an Allen key and a small crescent wrench. Do yourself a favor. Grab an adjustable wrench and hold the nuts tight it will make it go faster. And instead of the Allen key the drill and bit that will fit it works so much easier.

Overall, these are a very good buy once you get past the assembly. We have a lanai in Florida that gets heat and humidity and a lot of dust, so we didn't want wood and we needed something easy to clean. We liked the fact that these can be a regular Adirondack chair or a rocker and both have the option to pull out the ottoman. We put one together first without the rocker and it took us over two hours and required a You Tube video, even though the instructions provided were pretty decent (my husband just doesn't like to read instructions and they answered a lot of the things he was frustrated with). Still, if you aren't used to putting together this sort of product, it can be pretty intimidating so the You Tube video helped a lot by putting it on slow playback speed. After he put the first one together, he made the second one the rocker. The assembly went much faster the second time since it made more sense to him. After seeing the rocker, I like it so much better because the seat is higher, so we will probably turn the other one into a rocker as well. You can still pull out the ottoman which works fine for me at 5'5", but is too short for my 5'10" husband. Not a big deal. These are VERY sturdy, very heavy, and have a key that plugs into the side before you sit but can be removed if you want to fold them up.Good purchase and cheaper than Lowe's. I rarely say much negative about purchases unless I feel strongly about an item. Build quality is top notch, no complaints at all there and 100% recycled materials used to make it is a bonus. The unit is easy to assemble. I opted for my own tools, but it includes a required 10mm wrench and an Allen key tool. Instructions say 15 minutes to assemble, but It took 40 for me only because I check things twice and never tighten screws completely until the unit is assembled. My complaints: You must select to assemble it as either an Adirondack style or rocking chair from the start. You cannot easily switch between the two styles because to assemble as a rocking chair requires two bolts with a washer and nut; this isn’t something you can easily convert to an Adirondack chair. I’m going to look for a pin screw that I can easily push in and take out without having a washer and nut so that I can use it as either style. As a rocking chair, I can barely set my feat flat on the ground and I’m 6’3”. This unit sits pretty high as a rocking chair. If you’re vertically challenged, it may be too tall. The unit comes packaged nicely, but they are heavy (which isn’t a bad thing necessarily). I received the items just a few days after ordering.
