This trimmer is everything I hoped it would be. I've used low priced trimmers for years and was never totally happy with them, but figured they were probably almost as good as the more expensive trimmers. I was way wrong. From the moment you take this out of the box it just feels right. Great ergonomics, nice weight and it has a quality feel none of my other trimmers has had. The best part, it cuts beautifully and is very quiet. The four guides it comes with work great and let me do whatever cutting I need to do with ease. I'm very impressed with the quality and functionality of this trimmer. Feels good, works well, it's quiet and hopefully will last a long time.

This product stopped working within 6 months. One day it was full charge working fine. The next day, after recharging in the cradle, it wouldn’t even turn on. They don’t do returns after that long so $50 down the drain. Save your money and buy a higher quality product.

Great for lining

The unit we received had to be sent back since it was rusted. Normally, they are quite good. My wife is a professional stylist and likes this particular unit due to its slim, light weight, and easy to use features. The battery, despite being lithium Ion, does not seem to make it on the long haul. Also the head seems to have issues later on in its life. She does do the maintenance and lubrication regularly as she has been in the business a long time and knows the importance of taking care of her equipment. All-in-all I gave it four stars since equipment does not last forever and constant use in a professional salon puts a load on anything. I would definitely buy another one of these. I hope there will be a better model one of these days that does a better job of managing the battery.

Trimmer work great on mustache and go tee

Not as quality as my old one of same model. The vibration is weak and the blade is not as sharp, makes it not to give that complete shave and smooth after feel. The wire is light and feels inferior. Scared it might brake inside if rolled it up or round the clipper.

I had a cheapo walmart set of clippers for a while. I tried cutting my hair without the plastic guards and it didn't go well... Looked online to see what the best brands for cordless clippers were. No one was mentioning these (mostly paid for lists and SEO/advertising I'm sure). I asked my barber which one i should consider and they directed me to these. Wow, they are a step up in every conceivable way! I messed up and over lubricated the blades. That caused hair to get stuck between them. But luckily it's extremely easy to disassemble for cleaning. They are lightweight but the battery lasts a long time. Pretty powerful for the size and weight. Get some free stickers, too. I have little doubt they will last me a long time.

I'm a professional hairstylist. I was looking for a new trimmer to cut the edge of men's haircuts. I found this powerful small Andis trimmer. It's also quiet and it's exactly what I need.

I use these trimmers to give myself fades. Pictured is a bald to #1 self fade. I zero gapped them to allow a smoother transition from trimmer to shaver. It required me to unscrew 2 parts and then just gently nudge the blade around until I was happy. No non-basic screwdrivers required. At first I went too close and the clippers nipped me so I backed off. I estimate there's about 0.1-0.2mm gap now. I still have to be reasonably careful with the neck area under my chin but nothing else gets even close to bitten at this gap level. The trimmers are great for fades and I also trim my beard with them using the 3mm guard included. Totally satisfied, would buy again unless I can afford Babyliss Skeletons one day, lol.
