The best neutral tuning you’ll get below the Hexa. And nowadays, the Hexa is $80 which is just too much for that set in 2025. The LAN is very clear and detailed for its price. I think they could charge $50-60 for it. Of course there’s not tons of bass but it is pretty tight and clean bass, so tldr bassheads stay away. But if you like clean mids and treble with decent imaging, separation and only have $50 or less to spend, these are it. FIT! This set is also great for small ears since it has the Chu body. I personally got the best fit and sound using Dunu S&S tips. The included tips are fine and I thought I would hate the circle Y-split on the cable, but it’s smaller than I thought and doesn’t get in the way. Everything else on the cable is high quality and comfortable.

If you’re looking for an iem that doesn’t break the game and is great for gaming, this is for you. I never write reviews but this iem deserves my first Amazon review. First off, the iem is sturdy and well built with the stainless steel shells. They have some weight on them but not as heavy as a Moondrop aria. The cable that comes with it is nice and I have no complaints about it. I use spinfit W1s as my main ear tips so I don’t have an opinion on the tips that came with the iem. Comfort: These aren’t your typical blocky iem. The shells are small and it sort of reminds me a little bit of sennheiser ie200/300 shells. Once inserted, you’ll never notice it’s there. That’s one of my favorite parts of this iem. Not only does it sound good for my USE, I don’t have that fatigue that I usually get with bigger iems such as the t3 plus. How it sounds for gaming: I mainly play valorant and tarkov but have been on tarkov more lately and these out perform my previous t3 plus by a landslide. I am able to hear exactly where someone is and the soundstage is good on these for both games. Mind you, I never tried high end $1k iems before so I don’t know how premium soundstage/imagining is supposed to sound like but for me personally, with these $40 iems they PERFORM. I have no trouble identifying small details while gunshots and explosions are happening. I’m able to notice someone getting ready to nade or someone healing in the midst of a shootout. I can’t shill these any harder than I already am. Just know these are the real deal for $40 bucks. Conclusion: if what you’re looking for is an iem that is neutral focused and doesn’t have too much of one category, these are for you. If you were looking for something bass heavy, I recommend looking into the qkz x hbb or the wan’er if you were still in the budget range. For gaming, these perform very well. You have to remember these are $40 and will most likely not out perform studio headphones like something from Beyerdynamic but they do perform and are a great pickup as an entry iem and possibly endgame ?

These headphones are great for the purpose I was searching for, though I do wish I were more impressed with the sound overall. Compared to my older Moondrop Starfields, the low end doesn’t sound as substantial, and they never quite trick me into forgetting that I’m listening to a budget pair of IEMs. That said, the build quality is superb. They’re small, comfortable, and easy to wear for long periods, which made them perfect for the multiple cross-country flights I’ve taken recently. Honestly, that’s where these shine: flying. You don’t have to deal with the cheap free earbuds that start hurting after 30 minutes, and you don’t have to mess around with pairing Bluetooth earbuds to the seatback screen. Just plug these in and you’re good to go. They may not blow you away sonically, but as a comfortable, indestructible, travel-friendly pair of budget IEMs, they’re easy to recommend.

The Chu fit me really well, but the smelly Chu earhooks and cable are not only non-detachable, but are just plain bad. The Lan solves all the physical issues with the Chu, including what seems to be a better paint/finish, but time will tell. What is undeniably much better on the Lan is the cable, which is obviously now replaceable, but it’s simply a way better cable overall. A little thin, and missing a cinch, but is otherwise great, including being slight longer that the Chu’s too-short cable. Sound-wise, the Lan is similar to the Chu (balanced, not overly bassy, with nice mids and treble) but the Lan does have slightly more sub-bass and is smoother in the highs, but lacks some of the mid-bass punch of the Chu while relaxing the treble a little bit. Some of the “magic” of the Chu may be lost in the process, but to me the Lan is more likely to agree with a larger variety of music types than the Chu because of it. My biggest complaint would be the loss of punch, but I would still prefer the Lan, even at twice the price, with its quality-of-life improvements. Comfort with the Lan is improved over the Chu since it has the exact same size and shape but has the much better cable with pre-formed ear hooks. Gone, however, are the spring tips that come with the Chu, but I understand why after test driving the Lan with my spring tips - the Lan sounds worse with the spring tips compared to the included tips. The included tips are ok, but I ended up using CP145 (one M and one S, my ear canals are not the same size) and they are perfect with the Lan for me. If you like the Chu a lot but hate the cable and ear hooks, this is almost a must-have.

Man I love these. ☺️ My LAN's are paired with the Tripowin Zonie & SpinFit W1 (S) The cable doesn't change the sound, but does make the LAN more comfortable for me. The eartips absolutely do though. They open the soundstage and don't make my ears feel irritated. Like most reviewers say, if you love the CHU & are looking for an upgraded CHU, this is the one. No comment on QC, since I'm guessing these won't sell as much since the recommendations these days are the 7hz Zero & Truthear Hola. Moving on... I recently bought the LetShuoer S12 Pro to see what was on the horizon of $150 & Up in IEM Realm. Truth be told, kind of a let down. Don't get me wrong, they do sound good. They EQ real good, have fun subbass and fast midbass. But the vocals sound...off? Maybe it's that Planar Timbre people talk about when planar drivers are brought up. They take more energy for me to listen to than my other DD iems and my ears are left exhausted after listening to them. My current Over-Ears are the HD600 & I love vocals, so I guess going planar wasn't the right direction. The LAN on the other hand, man👌. So relaxing in comparison. Great fit & build. The bass is light & slower in comparison to the S12 Pro. But the vocals are so much more soothing in comparison. Personally, I can't tell the difference between the LAN & S12 Pro in soundstage when both have the Spinfit W1 on & even then, I feel soundstage is overrated. Now the real question is between the CHU and the LAN, which has the better waif-

I've had this now for 3 years and it has finally given way. So be aware that the point of connection between the wire and the air piece is not strong and with constant movement(in and out of bags and pockets) it will break. Other than that it was a good an comfortable earphone. No other complaints.

really really good for the price. this is my second pair of IEMs and I was very happy with the fit and finish. cable quality is also great and doesn't get tangled as easily. also comes with a small carrying case for them, which I unfortunately lost. they're plug and play so easy to use, but i haven't tested them with any amps yet.

Update 2: I contacted Moondrop on their site and they replaced the earbud that was broken. Update 1: The left bud doesn't have the same volume as the right. I'm hesitant to buy anything from this brand anymore. I bought these cause I used to have a CHU 2 and since they have a similar build I figured I'd get the more "Premium" version. The earbuds smaller shape is more comfortable with sleeping. I thought maybe these would be better in quality and sound but honestly getting a CHU 2 again would've been fine. The sound quality is better and the cable it comes with feels very light and nice to wear but not worth the extra cost. They're not *that* much better than the CHU 2 and the left bud feels like it pops in and out already like it's breaking.

Very clear, linear sounding, and real nice metal construction. I'm not gonna pretend that I'm an audio nerd, but even I can tell that every bit of the audio spectrum is there, without any notable boosted or muted parts, even when you lower the volume. Bit of a revelation for someone only used to consumer entertainment style headphones. The pictures don't show it but these do come with 3 size ear tips and a nice 4ft 3.5mm cable with a metal 90 degree plug.

Excelentes cómo primera experiencia con la marca. Estos moondrop Lan son increíbles, todo hecho de metal y con gran sonido, aunque hay otros un poco más económicos cómo los ChubII, yo recomiendo empezar con éstos por la calidad de su construcción y sonid. Si bien son pequeños es una ventaja porque no sobresalen de las orejas y son mejores para aquellos con orejas pequeñas. Con un cable de actualización DSP éstos ya se volvieron mis favoritos del diario.

Comfort is good, Sound stage is good, Tuning is good, Price is good. Overall a good IEM in this price range.

These are my first and cheapest IEMs and still my most used when I'm at work or on a bus, I've since got XINHS HS3, Supermix 4, m6 Pro, and I have WH1000XM4 as well. Sound quality is 7.9/10 or something. Comfort 9/10, my comfiest set. Build quality is good. They sound fine all round and I listen to basically everything. I prefer neutral referencey tuning mostly, and I don't really bother to EQ. Practical if you only had to take one set somewhere and didn't want to be worried about losing or breaking them and being down bad. Don't need to worry about having a fancy DAC, mostly use em with Apple dongle though I have used with Q5K and Shio. So I use them at work and travelling, but not really at home when I'm at my desk. But if you're on a budget and need one set, these will do fine.
