IMS Precision Nanotech 50.5mm Shower Screen DL200NT for Delonghi and other espresso machines

The perfect upgrade for my old Delonghi Dedica machine. With this IMS shower screen and an IMS precision basket, the old girl will produce some pretty reasonable espresso. It’s not going to rival high end machines of course, but with basket and screen changed, using a bottomless PF, it’s way better than as it comes out of the box. The shower screen fits perfectly, I just had to remove the gasket, pop the screen into the groove on the gasket and replace them both together to avoid any leaks. But it works perfectly now and the water distribution is 10 fold better than it was. Genuinely very impressed with this.

Nice and easy to fit and immediately showed better distribution of water when tested for the first time. Nice even water flow from ALL holes and this has helped push water through the coffee puck much better. Absolute must have upgrade for a Dedica

Easy to fit and has made a huge difference to my more entry-level set up water is way better distributed across the puck.

Stilosa compatibility confirmed. Requires M25 10/12mm countersunk screw. It protrudes down into the basket more than the stock shower screen so shave a couple grams off your dose, and order a bigger 18g+ basket for your double shots. Distributes very evenly after taking a sec to fill. Install: I turned the machine up-side-down and used a teaspoon to lever in the gasket as I pushed the shower screen down over it. Then as the shower screen just eases over the edge of the gasket, as you hold it, it should be close enough for your M25 10mm countersunk screw (might be easier with 12mm, but not too bad with 10mm) screw to catch the thread to tighten the rest of the way, pressing around the edge of the screen to keep a level fit. Good upgrade, hope this helps.

My Delonghi can now make proper espresso, I also recommend you upgrade your basket as well.

Was unsure whether this was worth it, but it fits my delonghi dedica machine and has made a noticeable different to extraction. Has significantly reduced splitting during extraction. Would recommend.

This is easy to install (just need a stubby phillips head screwdriver) and is a significant and worthwhile improvement to my Delongi Stilosa as this screen better distributes water over my 51mm “bottomless”Neouza portafilter that was the most significant upgrade, and also purchased on Amazon.
