I decided to use this test because I had been using urine strips to check my creatinine levels and their relation to my eGFR number, but those strips were impossible to read. I knew a blood test would be much more accurate. The cost was very affordable, and taking the blood sample and sending it back was really easy. The results were clear, easy to read, and simple to understand.

I was really impressed with the Choose Health Kidney Test. The kit was super easy to use, and the instructions were clear enough that I didn’t have to second‑guess anything. My results came back quickly, and the explanation was thorough and easy to understand. Overall, a smooth experience from start to finish. I’d definitely use them again and recommend it to anyone who wants a simple at‑home test.

This kidney blood test was a great choice for my needs. I got my results within about a week of the company receiving the test by postal mail. The directions and process were easy to understand and the company had good communication. One caveat- the lancet provided with the test didn't work for me, or, perhaps I'm not familiar with non-spring loaded lancets (that is: I'm a bit wussy about pricking myself, lol). I ended up buying a package of top push button activated lancets off amazon for about $6 - since the test required multiple pricks to get an adequate amount of blood drops - using multiple spring loaded lancets was the best solution for me. Overall, considering that I did not have to go into a lab to do the test, I think the price is reasonable and competitive. The same walk-in lab test with LabCorp/Quest about $30. With a discount, I paid $67 for this test on Amazon. Overall I'm very pleased and I would absolutely purchase tests from this company again.

I've been living with Chronic Idiopathic Pruritus for over a decade. I've been taking antihistamine daily the entire time. It's been an annoyance, but I never thought much about it, until recently (antihistamine is not harmful, but I suspect the never-identified underlying cause might). That's why I did the Kidney test. The kit came in fast. I read and watched the instructions thoroughly. It kinda surprised me that I was able to squeeze 4 drops of blood out pretty easily. Sent it in. Took USPS about a week to deliver it to the lab (I was able to track it the entire way). Only took the lab 2 days to get my results. I have no idea how accurate the results were, but they seem to correspond with my symptoms; elevated inflamation, below average eGFR, good numbers on the rest (I'm pretty sure I'm not diabetic, and the numbers seem to agree). But that's about all you get. It's not a diagnosis. And the insights they gave you is quite generic (eat healthy, exercise, etc.). I believe it is recommended you take another test in 3 months, which I intend to do. It's like taking blood pressure, I guess. It's good to be on top of things. Seeing the numbers gave me some motivation to finally try and identify what causes my inflammation and to avoid it so it no longer takes toll on my body (I have an idea, but never took it seriously). To summarize, for what the kit is, it does its job. The entire process is easy, straight forward, and as advertised. However, I would caution that you take it as a data point or a peace of mind, not a definitive answer, for that, you'd need a doctor or two. So, adjust your expectation accordingly.

This kit was very well organized and the process was easy. It took all of 10 minutes to take the test, register it, and put it in the mail. It came in the mail and easily fit in the mailbox. This was way better than going into LabQuest for a blood draw on a test that I need to take routinely. You have to register your kit with the website, and the QR code in the kit directs you to the place where you enter in your information. Easy process.

Very easy to complete and results come back quickly. Avoids trips to labs for blood draws saving time and money.

I have chronic kidney disease but my doctor only prescribes a blood test twice a year. I'd like to know more frequently than that what is going on and this Home Kidney Test does the job. It's annoying to get up at 5 am for a 6 o'clock blood test with no breakfast or tea and having to get dressed and get to the lab. So this home test is convenient and easy! I followed the easy instructions, got the test bundled up and my son mailed it for me. The results were quick and thorough and gave me an indication of just how my kidneys were doing! I would recommend this test for anyone with kidney disease.

If it works, then this review would be a 3 star. As it was, I spent over half an hour and used several lances besides the ones in the kit. I pricked five different fingers, some several times just trying to get enough blood to reach the line. No blood drops fell on the test pad, so I had to touch my fingers to the drop pad. There was still wet blood on the drop section that was totally filled up so maybe it didn't seep correctly into the test section. If I get results back that claim inadequate blood sample to test accurately, I won't use this product again. Fustrating!
