Back to the Roots 12-Cell Greenhouse Germination Kit

I bought this grow kit for my 7th graders seed growing project. The instructions were easy to follow and we were able to complete them with ease, in just a few minutes. The seeds started sprouting in 2 days! The container and soil that came in the kit really held in the moisture that the seeds needed to have a good start. My son was excited to watch the process of the flowers growth. I highly recommend this kit for anyone (especially us folks with a black thumb) that wants to start seeds with ease.

This is super handy for growing more basil and mint. Once the seedlings are big enough, you can easily tear off the biodegradable pots and transplant them. I really like it because it holds moisture well and works great overall.

These are really tiny as indicated by the measurements in the description so you don't need much soil if working on a larger project with lots of seedlings. I like that they are peat free and will break down in the soil. I wasn't able to see the finished product though since they were used by students and taken home to finish growing or transplant into a new container or outdoors. Not a bad purchase for what I needed.

We chose these pots for our Herb Guild summer picnic project because they are ECO friendly and do not threaten to deplete peat bogs. We decorated the pots with fabric ribbons and planted herb seeds for each member. The pots are high quality and held up well. Member feedback is that the seeds grew well and the pots are supporting proper growth once planted in the ground. Great value and easy to use. They did not fall apart after watering.

Became a mold farm. These are like compressed newsprint paper, and although germination was good, it never seems to dry out in the plastic container made for them. I moved them to a flat container, hopefully they will dry out.

We bought this pack of seed pots to go along with a huge bag of seeds we just got, and they’ve been perfect for getting our garden started. The pots are lightweight but sturdy enough to hold up while the seedlings grow. They’re the right size for starting a variety of plants, and they make transplanting easy when it’s time to move things into the ground. We’re really excited to grow our own vegetables and herbs this season, and these have been a great help in kicking things off. Highly recommend for anyone planning to start a garden, especially beginners like us!

These are great for starting seeds! I used them for plants that don’t do well being repotted. The roots grew right through the pot with no trouble. I started other seeds in plastic containers to see if these compostable ones improve rooting or plant health and they definitely do! They’re peat free so they don’t hold TOO much water and haven’t gotten moldy.
