Kills No See Ums
This item was a life saver! I had an infestation of no see ums in my house 3 times. This last time I had the DynaTrap set up and it worked perfectly! I collected over 50 on my first try and another 20 on my second sticky pad. FYI I was more successful using the pad that came with the unit.I will admit it wasn't the only thing that helped remove the tiny bugs. Keeping my sinks plugged and all water dried up helped to remove options for them to lay eggs. Also I had to kill all of my house plants since they seemed to live in the moist ground. The DyanTrap attracted them to the light which has a small sense of heat coming off of it and sucked them in to their death. Nothing else seemed to work as well. I tried the night light versions and they only caught 4 in over a 2 months. If you ever have no see ums in your house get this item it will be be of great assistance.

Already ordering a second one for another room.
I’m really impressed with the DynaTrap DT152 Indoor Insect Trap! I plugged it in just over a week ago in my kitchen where flies have been driving me crazy, and it has already caught dozens of flies. The trap is pulling them in consistently — I empty the basket every couple of days and it’s always got more in there. It’s actually working better than I expected. It runs extremely quiet — I can barely hear it even when I’m standing right next to it. That’s a huge plus since it’s in my living area. I also love that there are no chemicals or zappers, so it’s safe around my family and pets. It just uses UV light and a fan to pull the bugs in.The light is quite bright, which I was worried about at first, but it actually works great as a night light in the kitchen too. Doesn’t bother me at all when watching TV or eating.Super easy to set up, easy to clean, and it’s doing exactly what it promises. If you’re dealing with indoor flies or gnats, this thing is worth every penny. Highly recommend!

I changed my mind! This works quite well! Originally said: Looks nice but doesn’t work.
Update: I want to publicly admit that I gave this another try this year and I have much different results this time around. I left this on at night and turned off other lights so that it would be highly visible to any bugs in my kitchen/living/dining room area. I captured many more bugs than I did before. I think the difference is that I turned off the other lights so that the bugs are more attracted to this light and then they get sucked in. I'm not rating this five star yet because I'm not sure why I didn't catch many bugs the first time, but as you can see in the picture of the many bugs stuck to the Dynatrap, it DOES work. This WAS my original review: I got this last fall and used it for a few months until the little flying bugs disappeared from our kitchen. I looked at the sticky pad today and realized that it captured only one stinking bug onto the stick pad. ONE! Apparently the other dozen or so bugs I saw in my house just died off when winter came. It looks nice. It is quiet. The violet light created a pretty glow in the corner. But it doesn’t seem to work.

Do the job
These do their job but like everything else in reality are overpriced for what this really is - a thick cardstock with adhesive

Pure Snake Oil
The DynaTrap DT152 (and bait) is useless. We live in NW Indiana, this year we are swarmed by mosquitoes. We also have a little boy and as anyone with kids knows, kids do not know how to close outside doors, no matter what you try, the concept just simply alludes them. Naturally our house has a ton of mosquitoes and my wife is allergic to anything that stings or bites. A simple mosquito bite becomes a quarter sized inflamed bump and lasts for days longer than anyone else. I bought the POS listed above to catch mosquitoes like the products website claims and the "honest" influencers reviewed it as. The DynaTrap was placed near the back door that our son goes in and out of and mostly leaves open, so after three days, I open the camister not one mosquito, not one house/horse/deer fly; only a dozen fruitflies and most of them flew out, obviously not captured on the sticky paper. We have a Zevo for the fruitflies over by the fruit dish. The Zevo cought hundreds of fruit flies, expected, gnats, a house fly and a couple mosquitoes on its sticky paper. The evo only has a purple light, no fan, no bait that smells like a rotting corpse like the DynaTrap has. The Zevo is readily available at any grocery, general merchandise (Target, Walmart...) and hardware stores for a fraction of what the DynaTrap is.I guess the reason it is called DynaTrap is that it dynamically Traps you and your wallet with mumbo jumbo to peddle their snake oil.DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS!

Gets rid of mosquitos, but doesn't prevent them
I bought this for mosquitos and it definitely works, but there is a catch.Mosquitos will pretty much always be more attracted to you than to the light, so the trap is best at getting rid of mosquitos that are are already trapped in your house while you're away at work or something. If you open your windows/doors to let the air in, tons of mosquitos will come in and they'll mostly ignore the trap until you're not around anymore. At least by the time you get home, they catch most of the mosquitos.Still useful, but not quite what I was hoping.

Best drinks guardian I've ever had.
Main reason not 5th star is the sticky card sent with it barely works. That's fixable by just putting a cross of duct tape in the bottom tho. This is the one you want to have beside your drinks or snacks, works more than 2x as well as the Katchy line (I also bought the black Katchy at the same time and its barely collecting in a much more infested environment) and exposed them both to black gnats. This one has also attracted true no-see-ems and other moths and various bugs. Being half the price of the Katchy line and working twice as well for protecting my soda and coffee all day I gotta say this is the one you want for your desk. Just get some better glueboard or some sticky tape. Not happy with the card that came with and I'm a retired certified pest control operator in Florida. I know glue boards. Will run on portable battery packs if they can handle lower loads. Uses about 1/4th the power of the Katchy line. Mosquitoes love the Katchy tho, and its prettier! Both of these traps can have a thin loop of duct tape with the sticky side aimed inward placed in their bottoms, only needs to be about a centimeter across the tape but circle the bottom, to replace the sticky traps if you can't afford them. once traps get loaded with bugs the other bugs will stop landing. Alternately you can simply make a cross of the duct tape. You can also get sticky board or the actual sticky material and cut your own rounds.

Works well. Buying refill sticky paper is optional.
Works well. I like that it’s powered by a cord and not attached directly to a wall outlet. I also like that the sticky paper inside can be discarded when full and if your out of the refill you can just make your own with double sided tape and a piece of paper cut the same size. Even if I ran out of the sticky paper I doubt any bugs that get caught can fly back out with the fan that blows inward. Good buy!

Don’t buy
Useless

Completely inadequate.
Very disappointing. We bought this due to severe fruit fly problem in kitchen. It trapped less than 10 flies in 48 hours. We also hung old- fashioned yellow sticky strips. I also made fruit fly traps with apple cider vinegar, rotting fruit, etc. Both these trapped more fruit flies than the device. The fan works but isn’t very powerful.

Doesn’t kill only traps
The light does attract insects but after testing for 2 days, it only works when no other light is on. But the surprise, I open to check and fruit flies fly out, none stuck to the glue. Overall, it’s quite useless and expensive.

Não funciona!
Não funciona! O mosquito pousa no aparelho e sai voando. A ventoinha é muito fraca. Estou devolvendo o produto.
