Great Camera for Real Estate Photography, Especially for the Price
I've been using the Canon EOS R50 for over six months now, primarily for real estate photography, and I've been really happy with it.The image quality has been great, producing sharp, detailed photos that work well for showcasing properties. I pair mine with the Canon RF-S 10–18mm lens, and it's been a great combination for the type of photography I do.One thing I really appreciate is how easy the camera is to learn and operate. It's also lightweight, which makes carrying it around from room to room and between properties much more convenient. My only minor complaint is the grip. It's a little on the small side, and I wouldn't mind having something slightly larger to hold onto.As far as battery life goes, I'd say it's decent. I can typically shoot a few properties on a single battery before needing to swap it out. It's not exceptional, but it's definitely manageable for the type of photography I do. I'd recommend keeping a spare battery handy if you're planning on shooting multiple properties throughout the day.Overall, the R50 has been a great camera for my needs. It's easy to use, produces excellent photos, and doesn't add a bunch of unnecessary weight to my gear. I'd definitely recommend giving it a look.

Great little camera
We've only had this camera a couple of weeks, but it seems to perform up to expectations. The price is very attractive and it's an advantage that it accepts all the RF lenses in the Canon line, and with an adapter all the EF lenses also. Basically Canon has a bazillion compatible lenses. What I don't like about the APS-C image sensor is that being smaller than a full frame image sensor, it only uses the center part of the image the RF lenses are capable of. For example, a 20mm RF lens on this camera has a field of view as if it was a 32mm lens, or a 50mm lens acts like an 80mm lens. The RF-S18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM (which as I say acts like a 29-72mm), is a great choice for most situations, and it's macro function is a valuable addition. The attached photo is an example of a macro photo from my garden.

Great camera
Great camera for beginner photographers, or if you want a tiny walk around mirrorless camera. Paired with the 28mm, this powerhouse is a true value. Fast autofocus, light weight and versatility. While its battery life is mid, batteries are light weight and easy to carry.

Perfect Starter Camera with Great Features and Room to Grow
I’ve been using the Canon EOS R50 Mirrorless Camera for a while now, and it’s been an excellent experience overall. This is a fantastic entry point into the mirrorless world, especially if you want something lightweight, intuitive, and capable of producing high-quality images right out of the box.The autofocus is fast and reliable, especially for people and everyday subjects. It locks on quickly and does a great job tracking, which makes it easy to capture sharp shots without constantly adjusting settings. The camera is also very user-friendly, with a clean interface and helpful guides that make learning photography much less intimidating.Image quality is impressive for its class. In good lighting conditions, photos come out sharp, vibrant, and detailed. It’s a great camera for travel, street photography, and casual shooting, and the compact size makes it easy to carry around all day. That said, there are some limitations. Low-light performance is not its strong suit. Even when using a fast f/1.8 prime lens, I noticed that images can get noisy fairly quickly, and maintaining sharpness without pushing ISO too high can be a challenge. It’s definitely something to keep in mind if you plan to shoot frequently at night or indoors without strong lighting.Overall, the R50 delivers a lot of value for the price. It’s a great camera to learn on and grow with, especially if you mostly shoot in good lighting conditions.

The best upgrade from my canon 7D!
The best decision I’ve made in a long time was upgrading from my Canon 7D to my new R50! I ordered the Body Only thinking it wouldn’t come with an adapter so I ordered one, turns out it came with a Canon brand adapter already attached to it so that was an amazing surprise! The quality of the images is amazing!the compatibility of my canon EF lenses with the adapter is even better! The noise level of the shutter doesn’t even compare to my canon 7D, the R50 Is so silent! And the size difference from the canon 7D with the battery grip is insane! The canon R50 is perfect for my small hands.I strongly feel like my decision to upgrade was the best especially knowing this camera is going to last me a good while!I named her Sid (from ice age), since my Canon 7D’s name is Mammoth 🤭 lol!

Its RF mount ensures compatibility with a wide range of lenses, providing versatility for any shooting style. good quality
The Canon EOS R50 is a decent beginner-friendly camera with good image quality and easy-to-use controls. The 4K video looks sharp, and it’s lightweight for everyday use or casual vlogging. However, there are a few limitations. The body does not have built-in image stabilization, so handheld videos can look shaky without a stabilized lens or tripod. It’s also not ideal if you plan to use external flash accessories, which limits some photography options. Overall, it’s a good starter camera for beginners, but more advanced users may find it lacking in certain features.
