It's the cream cheese of scribers
The Trend Multi-Scribe Pro Scriber is an outstanding tool for anyone who needs precision and versatility in their projects. This tool has quickly become a must-have in my toolkit. The build quality is excellent, with a solid and durable design that feels like it will stand up to years of use. What I love most is how easy it is to use for a variety of tasks, from profile matching to accurate scribing. It’s incredibly versatile and saves me a ton of time on my projects. The adjustable settings allow for precise measurements, and the results are always spot-on. Whether you're a professional or a DIY enthusiast, this tool is a fantastic investment. I'm feeling a lot of love for this tool, Highly recommended!

Multiscribe tool
good little tool to help in all sorts of woodworking projects, well made, robust and all metal. handy pencil sharpener that works well. Some reviews thought differently about the sharpener. tren make some very good tools and jigs but they are not cheap, you get what you pay for.

Extremely well made and will last many years
Extremely well made, accurate and easy to use. I've been a carpenter for 27 years and this makes scribing such a breeze, should have made my career easier and had one years ago. One of my best tool purchases ever. This tool is so well built it will last a lifetime, well worth the price. 😀👍

It's solid, a little undersized. Standard circumference pencils don't appear to fit either.
UPDATE When I purchased this scribe I also purchased a box of Amazon brand HB2 Pencils. Unfortunately, when composing my original review below, the pencils hadn't arrived. They did turn up a week later, this observation was made: A standard pencil doesn't even come close to fitting in the hole meant for a standard pencil. Go figure? The pencil sharpener is made for a standard pencil and works really well, but depending on your point of view, either the pencil is too big, or the hole is too small. Either way, the pencil can't even be forced in. I don't understand, how nobody else has made this observation? This Trend Multiscribe Profesional is certainly solid. I picked it up on special at £14.99. Is it worth it? Yes. Would it be worth the SSP of £59.99, hell no. There's no doubt its one of those tools you never have to buy 2 of, there are some inaccuracies. First, it's not the advertised 35cm. It's 10cm short at 25cm. When upon opening, it didn't look right, I went over this page again and then again. Then the penny dropped. On the photos it states 35cm. In the specs, 25cm. Still useful, but when you think you are getting a much bigger tool, it's a bit disappointing. You open it expecting one thing, and you receive something smaller, I can imagine this has been a problem for many new brides down the centuries. It is also missing the little 3D sticker with all points shown on it in yellow and the Proscribe name through the centre. It has it's own arrow denoting 'Square and Mitre function' in the photos, quite how a little sticker helps with this I fail to see, but it was missing nonetheless. That aside, it is a well made solid tool. You would have to be doing something very wrong to break it. My tool came in a box. The tool, having free movement inside. This had damaged the finish on both the stainless bar and the black finish on the slider. The two must have detached in transit. I would have thought, if nothing else, that the tool would have been wrapped in tissue paper to stop the two from detaching, or packed in a support, as the finish left a lot to be desired with both the slider and the bar covered in many scratches and gouges over the entire instrument. I'm a keen DIYer and like too keep my tools in good condition. I'm on a hiding to knowhere with the state of this. Had it been packaged in the blister pack shown, I am sure it would have had a pristine finish as expected on a tool selling for the regular £60. The manufacturer date was August 2023, the time of this review being January 2026. It has many fuses. Does it have the 15+ claimed? I think you would struggle even finding 15 uses made easier using this tool. It has the main uses (when you can find a pencil that will fit), which you would generally use a scribe and contour gauge for, but some of the uses suggested would be much more easily achieved, if you dumped the scribe and did things in a far simpler way. But, it is useful, and well made. I would however defy anybody to say the advertised full price of £59.99 is worth it though.

Big scriber
This allows you to scribe timber etc to get a cutting line for getting a fit to a wall etc. It is surprisingly big and heavy, I wasn’t expecting that. This makes it very suitable for worktops and floors, but not ideal for anything more delicate. Trend have different scribing tool for those applications.

Normally, people in a campervan building who want to copy the shape of a wall use the same kind of tool, but made of wood. This scribing tool is equipped with a level, which is important for the accuracy of the scribing, it also have lots of other uses, well explained in the corporate video. It is strongly built.

I researched several coping tools before setteling on this one. We were coming to the end of building a log home and I needed something that I could use by myself for detailed finish work, if needed, because my contractor was moving to another state. He is extremely anal about the tools he buys and uses and he absolutely fell in love with this tool. I was sad I couldn't aford to gift it to him before he left town but he likely got one for himself by now. We have other scribing/ coping tools but not like this one that allowed us to span a fllor to celing distance on a wall that butted up against a log wall with different sizes of custom logs in pur log home so that one long custom fit length of Oak coulld slide right in like a gigsaw puzzle piece against the adjacent log wall.

Wirklich vielseitig einsetzbar.
