What are the ingredients in the Renovator?

It contains mink oil. I have found it to be an outstanding treatment for leather though it is undoubtedly expensive. Saphir also do a jojoba leather balm where you get a large bottle for the same price. However it is not as good.

Is this an original product? Comes in a different jar compared to official website.

Yes it’s the real staff. Use it sparingly and repeat if necessary. It revives worn leather.

After applying this product what polish is recommended?

I always use Saphir Pate de Luxe polish

Is this the same (are similar enough) to saphir medaille d'or renovateur? the more expensive renovator that comes in a square jar.

I believe it to be the same thing, the one in the square jar is 75ml against the round one at 50ml. Both are based on mink oil so it just depends on how much you want to spend.
