1 month and finally caught 1 mouse!
Update (5/14/26): After one month of placing two traps under the futon, it finally caught one mouse! Better than not catching them! I’m thrilled! This means that the stickiness does last for a while. Look at my pictures and videos. The mouse was running diagonally into underneath the futon and it got caught, yaaay! Since the mouse trap was 48inches by 11inches, and we only caught one small mouse with it, we didn’t want to waste it so we took a scissor and cut a square around where the mouse was, so we can throw out that used small area and continue using the trap because there’s so much of it left. It was easy to cut. The mouse was still alive after 7hrs of getting caught and still fighting to break free. Omg! It hasn’t worked yet. I got them on April 18th. Opened up two of them and laid them flat underneath the futon where I saw mice frequents. It has been two weeks and no mice had been caught yet. In fact, today I saw a mice came out from underneath the futon, I looked at it and it went back in underneath. So where the f did it go? How come the two long sticky glue traps didn’t trap it? I will update my review if these sticky mouse traps catch some mice. But right now it hasn’t been working yet.

These work!
The adhesive is very strong so you have to be very careful. The traps come folded with the adhesive side stuck to itself. It takes a lot of patience to pull it apart. I just noticed the instructions suggest that heating the trap with a blow dryer first makes it easier to pull apart. I tape the trap to the floor with packing tape. I lay it across my kitchen doorway. The trap is longer than the doorway so I tape it up the wall on each side. I make sure everything is flush to the floor and the wall. This way, the intruder cannot run under the trap. It cannot get by without getting stuck. The drawback with this method is that you have to step over the trap as you come and go. It's worth it to me though. You get used to it quickly. I replace the trap with a new one immediately after catching an intruder. There’s a trap down at all times.

Crap. Too thin not sticky enough for rats
Not sticky enough to catch rats all it did was catch flies and we even stapled it too a bunch of boards

Take them out with a rock 😬
These traps definitely work, but I want to be honest about the experience. They’re really long, which helps with coverage, but they can be a bit difficult to open and get unstuck when setting them up. It took me about a week to figure out where the rats were coming from, but once I placed these correctly, they started doing their job. I will say, some rats are smarter than you’d expect I actually heard one almost get stuck and avoid it, which is why I ended up placing a snap trap next to the sticky ones. I personally prefer snap traps because they’re quicker, and I didn’t like having to deal with the rats after they were caught it’s not an easy situation, and I hated having to end their life myself. But when you’re dealing with smarter rats, sticky traps are sometimes just the reality. Overall, this is a great and effective product, and I do strongly recommend it if you have a rat problem just be prepared for what comes with it.

Don't work for me, mechanical traps do, not these.
Putting these in the attic full of mice wasn't nearly as effective as regular old mouse traps. Actually, not one mouse with four of these long strips put up there while the spring traps keep catching them so for me, they are completely ineffective. Just regular mechanical mouse traps have worked for me, 14 mice in two weeks while these sit without catching one.

Extremely sticky and effective!
Extremely sticky and effective! These glue traps are massive and work incredibly well. The adhesive is super strong, and the peanut butter scent really helps attract pests. Highly recommend if you need a heavy-duty solution!
