Used, abused and still working
I didn't expect much for the price. I needed to remove press-fit wheel bolts. Yes I could have bought a 2 tonne hydraulic press..... Or, buy these and, for the money, take a chance that they work. I ended up tightening the ball joint separator as tight as I could and then whacking it with a lump hammer. Total abuse. But it worked. Then it worked nine more times. Then it worked to press the new bolts / studs back in again. They're still usable too. 5 stars without hesitation.

Snapped on first use.
Sadly one of the thru pins snapped when I used the first one of these I tried. I do admit that the taper joint was 50 years old, rusty and really wasnt in the mood to come apart.

Only did 2 ball joints on Freeland 2 , and it was worn out .

Ces appareils ont l’air solides. 2 d’entre eux ont les axes réglables qui permettent d’ajuster au mieux en fonction de la taille de la pièce à extraire. Je n’avais pas fait attention à ça mais c’est une bonne surprise qui augmente la polyvalence de l’ensemble

Langer Ausdrücker besonders praktisch
Ich habe die Ausdrücker bestellt, um die Querlenker, Koppelstangen und Zugstreben an meinem BMW E38 zu tauschen. Da ich keinen langen hatte, habe ich diesen Satz bestellt, ohne den wäre die Reparatur nicht möglich gewesen. Das Werkzeug hat gut gehalten, da ich es aber bisher nur an einem Fahrzeug genutzt habe, kann ich nichts zur Haltbarkeit sagen.

Works on almost any ball joint Tested on Ford, Citroen and Volvo and it solves many usual problems and do not damage the joints, if used correctly. Good tools for a small price.
