Hi. It's applies with a ski-iron; press the was onto the iron and let it drip onto the ski. Then use the ski iron to evenly spread the wax over the surface Base. Use an acrylic scraper to remove excess was then use a lint free cloth (I use a sylvette jewellers cloth) to polish the wax. Ensure no wax is on the ski edges, again using the acrylic scraper. I found the wax long lasting and durable. Buy a specialist skills iron and not a domestic iron, as the heat settings are designed not to burn the wax or the skis. Good lucondition skiing!☺

Q: Is this wax any better than candle wax, melted, ironed and scraped as I've done for years?

The universal Datawax is great across a large temperature range. One wax coat will last for up to 2 weeks of normal casual skiing. I have never used candle wax though
