Flat surface
This will work on thin flat surface material. Will not work on roofing material.

Garbage
Bought this to cut steel siding and itโs garbage!! It cuts if you push real hard but absolutely no control of the direction. It does not pull itself through the cut like the video shows. Very very disappointed but life is like that, Iโm getting used to it.

These are good for cutting tin roofing.
We put a tin roof on and had some left over prices. My son was building a chicken coop and used the leftovers from my tin roof to make one for the chicken house. It's easy to use and it cuts really good. It cuts a straight line with no problem at all. The price was great and the quality of the materials was very helpful. It was worth every penny to be able to cut the tin without any problems at all.

It's hard to control
It's is very hard to control it and when it cuts it cuts fast. The thinner the metal the better it works.

Works as expected for the money
If you want to cut small pieces of flat metal, its a champ. Practice on something first, like an old license plate, there's a learning curve to using this rig. If you want to cut 3ft wide segments of barn metal, it can be done, but you won't like it as much and its not a very good tool for that sort of application. I tried.

Not for cutting tin obviously
Saw videos of this cutting across ridges in tin and decided to give it a try. It wonโt cut across a ridge. Waste of money unless youโre cutting straight down the tin off of a ridge
