Great book - my kids love that it has little text. 7 year old remarked that “other books have so much information that you can’t remember it all, but this book has just enough so you can spend time looking at the pictures!”

We used a razor to carefully cut the illustrations out of the book and use the pages to decorate a 'safari room'- great images!

I’m becoming obsessed with the illustrations of Dieter Braun. They make this beautifully outlined book even better. But it’s not just a beautiful art piece worth of being a coffee table book, it’s also a favourite of my 6 year old. I originally purchased Wild Animals of the North and she loved it so much, I had to get the this one too!

Love this book. It's large in size, think like an elementary textbook. So so much information! Lots of diagrams that we enjoy looking at together. So many different uses for this book, and animal encyclopedia of sorts, planed activities about animals of certain regions, planned lesson on animals that are all in the same family, how ecosystems work in that region, and so so much more. Adds value to any bookshelf, both home and school.

I bought this as an accent to my son's wild and 3 birthday party. He loves reading and the illustrations in this book are amazing. It is a great collection to our library.
