Great “Cheap” Boring Bars
I was really impressed by how good these work for cheap boring bars. I have one similarly sized name brand, expensive boring bar and these leave a finish that is much better. Like I said, really impressed.

They’re very boring…
Nice inexpensive set of tools. No frills, no major problems it’s all very boring… One issue I noted working with 316 SS (the only material I’ve used these on) while using either of the 2 smallest tools I did get a fair amount of chatter. I chalked it up to operator feed and/or speed error and switched to the largest boring bar as soon as I had the clearance to use it. These new boring bars and the addition of a small misting cooing system purchased on Amazon as well, my lathe has never turned out better parts!

Great boring bars.
I needed a smaller diameter boring bar, but one that would reach a couple of inches longer than the one I have. The small one worked very well. You do need to have or make a tool holder. I made one out of half inch key stock - bored in with the drill in the chuck, and this in the tool post. Then drilled two holes in the side and tapped for a set screw. Works very well. The cutting bits themselves will fit all three boring bars, and are VERY sharp. Well worth the money.
