2.5 FT Slow Down Man! Street Safety Sign

I use it every time my kids are riding their bicycles in the street, and I’ve noticed that drivers immediately slow down. The sign is bright, easy to set up, and really catches attention. It’s lightweight but sturdy, and it gives me peace of mind knowing the neighbors and passing cars are more aware of the kids. A simple but very effective way to improve street safety.

Awesome! Step on it to assemble it. Super solid once filled with water. Now I need to figure out how to glue the flag so the kids don’t take it out.

Easy to see in our driveway. Has not fallen over once, even on windy days. My toddler also likes it as a new friend, haha.

Let me start by saying that if you feel like you’re going to break it while you’re putting it together, you are doing it the right way. Tricky to get together. Stands up pretty well to the wind if you feel both the top and bottom with water. It has good visibility… and I like that the flags could be in two positions. They also take a little bit of getting used to as you have to wiggle them left and right then left and right to get them to stay in the stand… But that is how they are designed. We set one up in front of our house and one two houses on the opposite side of the street down since we have three or four houses that I’ll have young children that play in the street. It’s a busy street, but people do seem to take notice of them and slow down, even though you think the kids on the road would do the trick…

very durable and very easy to install

This “Kids at Play” sign is exactly what our neighborhood needed! The bright orange color makes it highly visible to drivers, and the durable material holds up well in all weather conditions. It gives us peace of mind knowing that passing cars are reminded to slow down where children are playing. Simple, effective, and great quality — highly recommend for any family-friendly street!

We consistently have 3-6 young kids playing in our yard and riding bikes and scooters. We also have more delivery trucks stopping by more than I care to admit. With our driveway being curved and on a slope, it is sometimes hard for the driver to even see the kids are there until they are already in the driveway. My husband was always trying to put out a cone or block the driveway, but it always fell down or blew away. The Go Slow Man was exactly what we needed. It is made of thick sturdy plastic which was key with a bunch of boys who can easily destroy most things. It also stands up on its own (without any wobble) without even filling it with water. I didn't try to put water in yet being that its winter, but am very glad its completely functional without that step. My favorite part is the flag that sticks out. Anyone pulling in can see the flag as it extends nice and far and is visible even before they see the man. It also is attached securely to the Slow Down Man so doesn't fall off or quickly stolen by the kids :) Of all the things in my garage, I am very happy to have added something that keeps our children safe!

Seems like a good product,but the one I received is not stable. The problem is the top and bottom are not in anyway a good fit, therefore prone to tipping over. A possible means to secure might be to shim the loose fit. Maybe I got a bad one. I didn't use the product until the return window had expired otherwise I would have requested a refund or an exchange.

Sturdiness: Very sturdy Quality: very good Product differentiator: Gives you the option to fill in water to make it heavier. I am using it without water as its sturdy enough. Price: A bit pricy buy worth the quality.

We live on a street parallel to one of the most busiest streets in my entire city. Drivers constantly cut the lights and speed down our street and our neighbourhood has a lot of children. After installing the sign on my boulevard I drove down the hill this morning and I could notice the bright orange sign at the top of the hill. Hopefully this will reduce speeding down our street. I just love it. It was easy to put together and very stable. With my grandchildren playing outside it has done the trick. Cars are slowing down. Thanks so much.

Badly designed. The body keeps getting detached from the based. It keeps falling constantly.
